  • Family getaway in Kihei

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property. There were a few things that weren't perfect but not enough to make me rethink staying here again. Property was very well equipped with all of the comforts of home. Just a block from the beach and 5 min. drive into the center of Kihei. We arrived late our first night and there was a power outage that day which turned off all of the air conditioners so it was very hot. After about an hour it finally cooled down enough to get to sleep. Our two little ones (6 and 8 yrs) were exhausted and still on Oregon time. By midnight (2am Oregon) we were finally able to cool it down enough to sleep. Obviously not the fault of the property managers just bad luck. I'd planned on getting some work done the next morning and fired up my laptop, only to discover that the wifi was out. After several attempts to reboot the modem I texted the manager for advice on getting it to work. No luck. I had to resort to using my 4g Ipad to type out documents which took twice as long. Again, bad luck. We encoutered a rainy day during our stay so opted to swim in the pool instead of going to the beach. The pool is quite small but adaquate for a quick plunge. The kids were happy to have the option. Overall our stay was pleasant and would recommend this propery to others planning a visit to the Kihei area. The only downside was the 10am check out time on our final day which really put us in a pinch since we were still recovering from our jet lag from our late arrival, and it didn't help that the cleaning person arrived at 930am and waited at the door for us to leave. Not a relaxing way to end our stay. Especially since our next property wasn't ready until 4pm. The communication with the manager was prompt and professional. They even offered to refund us for the wifi being out. Totally fair. Had everything been perfect I would have given this propery 5 stars. As it stands I'd rate our stay a solid 4 stars. I'd stay here again in hopes that we'd have better luck next time."

  • The best!

"We had a wonderful 10 day vacation to celebrate our 40th anniversary with good friends. So pleased to stay at this beautifully decorated condo with ocean view from the lanai where we enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the whales play. The kitchen is fully equipped (just like home), comfortable beds and ceiling fans throughout to keep us cool. We used the various beach toys provided and that was a nice bonus. It is a very short walk to the beach/park. Good parking and no road noise. Beautiful grounds with very nice BBQ stations, a large pool and kid's pool, 2 hot tubs, workout room, snack bar, concierge, etc. This place is the best we've stayed at since coming to Hawaii in the 80's and we definitely will come back!"

Looking for a longer term stay of 3-5 months !!! Mahalo"

  • Great place for the family

"Overall we had a great stay. Brad, the owner was very responsive and helpful. The home has a great layout for multiple familes and the owner even provided a crib for our 18 month old. The closets were stocked with everything we needed from dishes and small appliances to beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. I would have given the stay 5 stars across the board except that we ran into some sloppy house keeping."
