"The pictures on the website don't do justice to the view. The condo's locations provides one of the best views in Hawaii. It is extremely private the way the partitions are designed. Commonly seeing sea turtles from your deck is quite cool! Video system worked well and was very nice. Kitchen looked a little dated in the pictures, but was actually very attractive. Furniture is all perfect condition and beds very comfortable. Location just south of Wilea was incredible and a little out of the heavy tourists location, but still very accessible. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with our family!!!"

"This place was wonderful, the views were stunning, morning to night. We loved the location, it was quiet and secluded, yet close enough to everything we wanted to do. The grounds are beautiful and the condo had everything we needed. The property manager met us on the day we arrived and showed us everything and gave us recommendations for restaurants and activities. Our vacation was perfect."

"Having a trouble finding Hawaii in Maui? Squinting too hard at the landscape to replace the feeling that the OC has colonized your favorite spots along the shore? Then stay here--an old-school haven right on the rocks at "Turtle Town"--at a comfortable home still run by the ohana tied to the history of Makena Landing.
Tropical greenery shields the site from more modern developments, allowing you to absorb the special vibe of something very Hawaiian: the unity of land and sea, nature and humankind; the practical and the spiritual. Wake to the cool stillness of dawn; walk across your front lawn to sit on the oceanside terrace, feet from the water. Watch the day begin along the intimate coastline and gaze to Molokini and Kaho'olawe in your view. Explore the activities and attractions nearby during the day--so many parks, beaches, great snorkeling spots, restaurants, and other resort amenities. Walk, following the Sunday bells, to the close-by historic Keawala'i church on the bay--"All are welcome" and the service is in Hawaiian and English. Enjoy your own awesome Maui sunset ritual outside your door on the shoreline.
Turn on the bedroom A/C for a comfortable nap or night's sleep when the trades fade in the evening. Bring the ocean view to your meals or stay-at-home activities under the fans of the large functional lanai. The room arrangements are unique; most bedrooms have their own doors to the outside top-floor landing. All have their own bathroom. Read the offerings carefully and don't expect a 5-star Wailea hotel room. Those are available by the thousand.
This is a clean comfortable getaway home with attentive genuine family managers in a spot you could only dream up."

"We love the Makena Landing area, with great snorkeling, kayaking, a boat tour, and a sandy nice beach all within a short walk. The Peterson's are quick to respond, and keep a nice, very clean little house. We were in the hot-tub every morning, rejuvenating for the day! And of course- turtles all over the bay."
