"My husband and I along with my son and 11 year old granddaughter stayed for 8 nights in this fantastic condo. The condo itself is very nicely furnished and comfortable, especially the beds and pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with any small appliance you would need and bar ware and spices. We found the location to be absolutely perfect. It is very quiet and uncrowded (at least when we were there). The views from the lanai are incredible. You can see all the sea turtles playing and feeding in the rocks that are right in front of the condo. The beach is fantastic. When you have some surf, the boogie boarding is great (my granddaughter had a blast). And when the surf is calm, you can snorkel right from the beach and swim with the turtles. You don't even have to snorkel to see the turtles. They swim all the time right off the beach and feed off the rocks. Also, beach was NEVER crowded.Good restaurants close by in Wailea and Kihei as well as supermarkets. Loved our stay here and did not want to leave. Very beautiful and safe location. Hope we can make it back sometime."

"What you get:
1. The classic Hawaiian beach view and easy access for snorkelling or just hanging out on the beach
2. Sunsets that warm your heart
3. Secluded, non-tourist location ( restaurants are close by)
4. Easy access to some of Maui's best snorkeling (all within a few miles of the condo)
5. If you've been to Lahaina, then you'll want to always stay in Makena. Lahaina is much hotter, crowded
6. Access to the upcountry is easy
7. Haleakala is at your backdoor
All this and much much more are what make this condo a get place to stay.
This unit was recently remodeled and everything works well. The bedrooms are nicely appointed and the kitchen has all the basics for cooking.
I highly recommend this unit for its beach view and easy access to the parking lot. The pictures on this site do not begin to show you how spectacular the view truly is!!"

"My family and I stayed at Polo Beach Club in a beautiful oceanfront condo. We enjoyed everything about our stay.. the condo, the location, the perfect ocean view of islands and sunset, the beautiful sandy beach and clear blue ocean water, the pool and spa, the barbecue area to meet other guests, the nearby resorts to walk to dinner or entertainment, the sounds of ocean waves for a restful sleep. This is by far the best vacation spot! We had excellent service by the booking agents Travis and Corey. Our reservations were made with friendly ease. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy the best vacation of their life. Aloha!"

"This was our 8th trip to Maui with our two boys (now 17 and 20), my tenth, and my wife has been there many more times than that. We've stayed in Kihei, we've stayed in Kaanapali (once) and several times oceanfront in a Makena condo. This stay in Sue's beautiful home in this very special place was by far the best of them all. We arrived in the dark and woke up the first morning to the gentle sound of waves and a predawn view that may be unmatched in all Hawai'i -- without even getting out of bed! It just got better and better from there. It's not just that the home is oceanfront, it truly is on one of the prettiest pieces of coastline on the island. The "old Hawaii" look and feel of the home is just right -- casual, comfortable and well appointed. This is the first place we've ever stayed that we were as content to just hang out at home as to go touring or to the beach. Coffee in the lounge chairs at dawn, and sunsets in those same chairs, margaritas in hand, were the perfect way to start and finish a day. The outdoor dining room, under a tree and over the water, was the perfect place for a barbecued dinner while the stars came out. Sue was an absolute pleasure to deal with as was Katarina, her property manager and caretaker. We will be back."
