"We have been returning to this condo annually for 5 years now. The view from the lanai is truly spectacular, especially at sunset. Whale watching is easy with the binoculars provided. We eat most of our meals on the lanai to enjoy the view. Ekahi has a large main pool and pavilion just above the beach, which one accesses down a flight of stairs through a locked gate. The beach itself is fabulous and next to a good sea turtle viewing area. The condo's keyless entry system is very convenient--no need to carry a key around other then the pool/beach access key. The owner Pat M. is a pleasure to deal with, and is very responsive. The Shops at Wailea and various resorts are within easy walking distance, and the Wailea beachfront path is great for walkers and runners."

"The condo was great and as advertised. Newly remodeled, with well appointed kitchen and BBQ. You are steps away from a small "quiet" pool. A bit of a hike down to the larger pool (especially with a small child), but totally doable. It's also nice that the larger pool area has fridges, so you can take down snacks and drinks for the day and keep from walking back and forth. The bed in the master was comfortable, and there is a private lanai off the master which was great for us to relax on after we put our child to bed on the sofa bed in the living room. The unit had boogie boards, beach towels, snorkel equipment, sand toys, and beach chairs, all in great condition, which made traveling with a kid great. The beach is extremely close and very nice. It would be a long walk to the Wailea shops, but it's a super fast drive. There is a Safeway not far down the freeway which I thought had pretty reasonable prices for stocking up on some meals and snacks to save $$ while in Maui. The complex was very nice and well maintained. Booking online through VRBO was challenging, but Helen was super responsive to all my questions and made sure we were all booked and ready. She even let us get into the unit early, which was great after flying 5 hours with a toddler. We are already planning another trip there with extended family, this place was a great find!"

"THIS PROPERTY IS IN THE PRIME SPOT IN WAILEA. IT IS IN THE HOTEL SECTION WHICH IS VERY EXPENSIVE. THERE IS A SHOPPING MALL A SHORT WALK AWAY AND THE FOOD STORE IS NO MORE THAN A 5 MINUTE RIDE. THE CONDO IS A WALK TO THE BEACH, NOT GOOD IF YOU NEED TO HAUL GEAR. THE UNIT IS CLEAN BUT CAN BE UPDATED. PATRICIA PROVIDES ALOT OF ITEMS LIKE BEACH TOWELS AND HAVING A WASHER AND DRYER MEANS NO OVER PACKING. THE ABILITY TO EAT IN AND SAVE SOME MONEY IS GREAT. THERE IS A VIEW FROM THE DECK. STAYED WITH MY WIFE AND TEEN AGE DAUGHTERS. THE PRICE IS GREAT TO BE IN WAILEA. PATRICIA WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH."
