  • Amazing View Even Better Condo

"My wife and I come to Maui roughly once and year and have stayed in multiple different location including the Grand Wailea (Ho'olei's hotel sister) and I have to say this is by far the best place we have stayed. We had a few children with us and this place could not have worked out better. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a full gourmet meal, the family room area is wide open and very comforting, and the lanai just cannot be beat. We left the sliding doors open basically the whole time we were in the condo, you just can't beat the Hawaiian breeze gently flowing through the whole space. Air flow is great through the whole condo so there is little need to run the AC if at all. The pool that is in the property is perfect for kids and adults and when we were there had maybe five to ten other people total there. You could really spread out and not worry about people intruding (unlike the Grand Wailea pool). Sat's property manager Chad was also a great asset, whenever we had a question we would text him and he'd get right back to us. The condo is fully stocked and when I say fully stocked I mean really fully stocked. This is one of the things I really enjoyed about staying there, it was like past guests were "paying it forward". Example: There is a W/D in the unit and there is no need to buy detergent because since past guests have left their extras. Also there are ample beach chairs, sand toys, umbrellas, water socks, boogie boards, heck there's even a baby gate and baby chair!! We felt like we wanted to help continue the community feeling so we left extra laundry detergent, sand toys, and water socks there as well. The house is a short walk to the pool, Grand Wailea, and the beach. Although I'd recommend driving to the beach so you can make use of all the beach goodies left at the condo. Thanks to Sat (property owner) for allowing people to take advantage of this amazing property while he is not using it. It truly is a treat!"

  • Amazing Place!

"We knew we had found something special when the staff told us that this was one of the best equipped and decorated units in the whole complex. This was a special family trip with our adult children and two grandsons. The layout of the villa was perfect as the grandchildren used the bedroom upstairs and would get up and play at an early hour without disturbing those of us on the lower level. Everything was perfect. From the initial contact with the owner and Grand Wailea to the staff to the weather. Thanks for making this exceptional villa available."

  • Our new family tradition - Maluhia at Ho'olei!

"We feel so lucky to have found Maluhia at Ho’olei! This home is very special – the design far exceeded our expectations, (which were already very high.) When the Ho’olei staff greeted us and offered to show us the home, we knew we were in the right place. They opened the front door and the views took our breath away! The blue Maui water views were – far better than the photos are able to show. The kitchen was fully equipped with more than I needed to make some really nice meals at home. There were six of us and everyone had plenty of space. The beds were so comfortable and the bedding was as if it came from a designer’s magazine. The staff at Ho’olei was also great – they arranged day care for our kids at Camp Grand at the Grand Wailea Resort, which was amazing. We were so glad to have had the resort experience while being able to stay in this home. It will be very hard to stay in a hotel after this stay – we’ve been spoiled by Maluhia and can’t wait to return next year. Mahalo for creating such an amazing place for us to begin our Maui tradition!"

  • Excellent Experience- Villa Distinguished by Premium/Custom Furnishings, Supplied Amenities+Location

"We just had a great stay at this villa. It is distinguished from other villas by several factors: (1) location, (2) outstanding custom furnishings, and (3) very well stocked kitchen supplies and beach goods. Of course, it comes with access to all of the Grand Wailea activities, which is critical. Location is great- quiet but yet walkable to community pool + the hotel pool-- up one street on one side, with a clear view of water/mountains, and the hotel only on the side; large lawn area (part of golf course) provides convenient spot for kids and serene setting (instead of other villas). Furnishings are clearly heads-and-shoulders better than what official Grand Wailea/Ho'olei photo gallery shows of other villas -- besides better aesthetics, furniture is clearly much better quality than the typical wicker featured elsewhere-- especially the chairs and couches. Kitchen-- comes with every possible kitchen utensil/tool imaginable, very convenient. Having the 3 boogie boards and 3 beach umbrellas and 4 or 5 beach chairs provided by the owners was also immensely helpful when we went out. The Ho'olei staff is also excellent-- attentive, flexible and prompt. We had a very personalized experience with great service both before our stay and during our stay with the excellent staff. The Ho'olei pool w/waterfall and gym facilities, while certainly smaller than the Grand Wailea's, provided a nice respite and tranquil retreat away from the craziness of the other side (so we often came here at the end of each day during twilight hours). The convenience of the drive-in garage and elevator was critical to us (my dad gets around slowly with a walker), and made for a great vacation for us. It was nice to be able to run over to the Grand Wailea for the activities (note the lazy river, slides and fishpipe for the kids; the art/photo lessons for the adults, beautiful sunrise and sunsets from the beach) but yet also have the privacy and personal service of the villa (and Hoolei staff) even in the middle of peak season. Lastly, I should note that the owner was a pleasure to deal with."
