Perfect Maui vacation!
"This was our 2nd visit to Maui and although we enjoyed our first trip, this was by far our favorite! We absolutely loved the condo as it was comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed sleeping in and eating breakfast at the condo before heading to the gorgeous pool or Uloa Beach. We even got to see the largest sea turtle at the beach to top off our amazing trip. The only negative part was having to leave. We were truly in paradise and enjoyed every second. We can't wait to go back and would love to stay at the condo again!"

"My family and I just spent 6 days in this condo. The owner was very easy to keep in touch with. We were traveling with an infant and asked if we could get into the condo a little early to accommodate his nap and the owners were super great about letting us do that. The condo has very good quality finishes, comfortable beds, TONS of beach gear, a great washer and dryer on the patio, a stunning view of the ocean framed by lush greenery on the grounds of the condo complex. The unit is a ground floor condo so it was a 20 foot walk from the parking spot and across from the pool. The kitchen was adequately stocked with the right appliances and the veranda was spacious and beautiful for coffee or drinks. The weather while we were in Maui was extremely muggy and hot, which is somewhat unusual from my experience, so it was nice to have the ceiling fans and AC. Its not central AC, but rather a collection of window units.
We had a group of 6 adults and 1 baby and there was adequate space and beds for everyone. Overall, we were pleased with the unit and we felt the cost of the rental was a great value. However, the one major complaint we had about the unit which was impossible to know before arriving were the bedroom doors. Only 1 bedroom of the 3 had a solid bedroom door! The other two had plantation shutter style doors, which gives an island feel and perhaps helps air circulation, but with the solid flooring, it gave us zero sound privacy. With a group as large as ours, plus a baby, we were constantly hearing each other bang around the condo. I would definitely replace those with real doors. If the owners would like to better accommodate families with young children, I might also suggest keeping a pack n' play and a high chair in the unit, since those would be really easy and inexpensive things to have on hand that would be a huge bonus for those of us with kids. Lastly, the sofa in the living room was comfortable and it was great to have a sleeper bed there, but its starting to look a bit worn compared to the other furniture in the home, so they may look at updating that in the future."

"We have been returning to this condo annually for 5 years now. The view from the lanai is truly spectacular, especially at sunset. Whale watching is easy with the binoculars provided. We eat most of our meals on the lanai to enjoy the view. Ekahi has a large main pool and pavilion just above the beach, which one accesses down a flight of stairs through a locked gate. The beach itself is fabulous and next to a good sea turtle viewing area. The condo's keyless entry system is very convenient--no need to carry a key around other then the pool/beach access key. The owner Pat M. is a pleasure to deal with, and is very responsive. The Shops at Wailea and various resorts are within easy walking distance, and the Wailea beachfront path is great for walkers and runners."

"Once again Susan, the condo and the resort staff exceeded expectations. Our second time staying here may have even surpassed the first just because we already knew the location/restaurants/etc. The accommodations were perfect for our family with grown kids. Beds, showers, kitchen are top notch. The running path along the oceanfront is great for a short run; kayak rental very close; and I highly recommend the Oceanside massage!"
