  • Wonderful home away from home!

"The property was absolutely perfect for my family of 5. With an updated and fully stocked kitchen we were able to enjoy cooking together. The location of the pool was very close as well. We absolutely loved the fans and a/c! I would recommend this beautiful property over and over again. We hope to visit again next year :)"

  • A Fabulous Vacation

"This was our first vacation to Maui where it was just the two of us. We've had past fabulous family vacations in Maui and at the Palms and therefore had high expectations for our stay. This condo left nothing wanting to make the vacation one would hope for. The condo was very clean, spacious and inviting, ideally located within the complex, and included all the amenities one would expect in ones own home. Nothing was missing. The Owner was excellent to deal with and responded very quickly in confirming all arrangements. It was obvious the Owner ensured everything was in place to ensure a memorable stay; which it was. We will be back!"

  • Wonderful time!

"I stayed here 4 nights in November and was my first time using vrbo. I must say it exceeded my expectations. Its wonderfully situated at the back of the Palms community with a great sense of privacy, being situated above surrounding homes, with nobody behind you and everybody facing the ocean. Great views of the west Maui mountains, Lanai, Kahoolawe, and even Molokini. The open floor plan, swing-open windows in the kitchen, and wall of windows in the living room enhances the sense of space. The unit faces west, and you get great sunset views even from the sofa (if you drop the blinds, which are somewhat sheer, it cuts the light and its like a painted sunset on the wall!) Good practical aspects: 8 minute walk to Keawakapu Beach. Easy 15 minute walk to the string of resorts for dining/shops. Towels and beach paraphernalia supplied, AC in the master bedroom kept me plenty cool while sleeping. Had a minor glitch with a toilet, promptly dealt with. Owners pleasant and straightforward to deal with. It was my first time with vrbo - since its someone else's home and you interact with them directly, the relationship you feel with the owners is important. I must say my interaction with the owners here made me feel very comfortable and invited. Would definitely stay here again. Nice touch: electronic key entry so no physical keys to lose/hide. Wish my rental car was that way!"

  • Beautiful, BIG Wailea home away from home

"We spent 10 days in this beautiful condo and were absolutely thrilled with it. My husband is originally from Maui and we have visited many times; it was wonderful to have a place that really felt like a home, versus staying in a crowded, tourist-packed hotel. Wailea is our favorite place to stay, and this condo is a great value. Let me first say that the condo is HUGE. Very spacious. Our family of 3 was very comfortable. When you walk in you'll see the unit is bright, with two sets of full-length sliding glass doors and enormous slide out windows in the kitchen, providing amazing views of the beautifully landscaped property and even the ocean. There is also a very large lanai (patio) that was wonderful for relaxing and soaking up the Maui sun and tropical air. The area is very quiet, besides the birds - which we loved hearing in the morning. The condo is also wonderfully stocked full of everything you could need, and this saved us a TON of money! For example: we used the kitchen and the grill to make many of our own meals; used the chairs, cooler, towels, umbrella and boogie board at the beach; used the washer and dryer numerous times (which allowed us to pack less.) The unit also has two flat screen televisions and a sound bar that we were able to connect to our iPhones via bluetooth to play music - so great. The condo is tastefully decorated and we especially liked the living room furniture - oversized and super comfortable. The kitchen is extremely upgraded (versus other units we have stayed at in the Palms) and there are beautiful tile floors throughout. The king size bed in the master was also heavenly! We slept very well on it. There are tons of linens - sheets, bath towels, hand towels in the kitchen, etc. It was unseasonably hot when we visited, so the AC in the bedroom was much needed and we were very relieved to have it. Rachel was an absolute delight to book with. She was super responsive and even went out of her way to work with a baby rental company we also used, who dropped off some items in the condo before we even arrived. The ONLY two things I would change, if I could: the shower/tubs in both bathrooms could use some upgrades. Neither switched fully from shower to bath and are a tad outdated. Also, staying 10 days, it would have been nice to have a cleaning service mid-trip. (This may have been possible - we didn't request it.) Nonetheless, these things would not deter me from highly recommending this condo."
