Recent Wailea Beach Villas property reviews

  • Absoutely gorgeous

"Wailea Beach Villas is a beautiful property and this unit is probably one of the best units on top of that. We stayed in Wailea Beach Villas for the first time this year, and had an absolutely perfect vacation. There are impossibly beautiful views, the interior is top notch, the location is unbeatable with the Wailea Shops and restaurants and beach both within walking distance. The kitchen is great and encourages you to stay in to make meals, but there are several restaurants and coffee shops nearby when you want to go out. Going to the beach was a pleasure, with the employees of the Beach Villas setting us up with everything we needed. Opening the windows in the early evening let just the right amount of Hawaiian zen in with the music from the luau's drifting up, but when we were ready to go to bed, closing up the windows led to perfectly tranquil nights. The Maui Rental Group was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end, and they deserve some of the credit for making our entire trip go smoothly. One of the best places we've stayed in Hawaii, more than comparable to accommodations at the Four Seasons, though with a beautiful kitchen as an option for breakfasts and dinners instead of at restaurants every night. (though all of those restaurants are still walking distance away when you want them)"

  • Awesome Wailea Beach Unit

"I have nothing but great things to say about our stay at the Wailea Beach Villas. This is a beautiful and spacious 3 bedroom penthouse unit with its own private entrance and spectacular ocean view. The interior seems brand new and is full of modern amenities. The property is very nice and the pools are warm and uncrowded. And you are only a few minute walk to the beach or to shops and restaurants. You could spend your entire trip in Wailea but do head out to Kihei and check out some of the local spots for food. We recommend Kihei Cafe for breakfast, Coconuts for lunch and Sansei for sushi."

  • Luxurious, well-appointed villa, excellent location

"Location-wise, the Wailea Beach villas can't be beat. It is adjacent to the Grand Wailea Resort, walking distance to all the Wailea amenities, and a very short walk to the beach. The units are actually on the beach, however this particular one was set back a bit, closer to the mall and lobby. The unit is pretty much as advertised by the description and pictures. It's owner Ann, was very easy and pleasant to work with. The unit is definitely a luxury condo inside and out- Very comfortable furnishings, a gourmet kitchen, a large lanai with grill and comfortable furniture. A very nice feature was the large sliding glass doors making it true indoor/outdoor living. A few minor maintenance issues were quickly taken care of by the on site maintenance team. There is a front desk/concierge that is very pleasant and helpful. The Beach Villas have a family pool and adult pool. Both of them are well/maintained and easy to access. The fitness facility was on the small side but had all the essentials. Really, the only beef was the assigned parking space in the underground garage was really tight for anything but a compact car. Overall, this is a beautiful condo in the Wailea Beach Villas whose location can't be beat. We would rent this unit again in a heartbeat!"

Wailea Beach Villas Travel Tips

Whale Watching with Wailea Beach Villas Vacation Rentals

Every winter, humpback whales migrate to the Hawaiian Islands from the polar regions for mating season. The crystal clear waters allow visitors to watch the animals, even if they're hundreds of feet below the surface of the ocean. Wailea Beach Villas vacation rentals allow you to see this sight by giving you an economical means of staying in at Wailea Beach Villas condos; a vacation rental is a deal in which a property owner rents his property to a tourist. This allows you to stay in someone's house or condo instead of a hotel. More beds are available for a party to split the costs, and you can cook and eat in someone's kitchen instead of a restaurant.

Other Things to Do in South Maui

Whale watching is in the winter season, which is traditionally the off season for Hawaiian tourism, so rates on South Maui beach rentals are usually much cheaper. But if whale watching isn't your thing, you can learn to scuba dive, go snorkeling (without need of classes or a license) over the incredible coral reefs, or do what is not only free, but possibly the best way to relax: sit back on a white sand beach, catch a tan, and watch the sunset.

Ecotourism in Maui

Ecotourism is quickly becoming a key draw for Maui, since the island is in such immaculate shape, and holds such an incredible diversity of ecologies, from volcanic rims at 10,000 feet above the ocean, to rainforests, to coral reefs, and the deep ocean where the humpback whales can be viewed. The whale watching tours are also educational, with wildlife experts giving lessons about the whales and their habitats during the trips to and from the viewing locations. The volcanoes can be toured on foot, if the state parks are open duing periods of inactivity, or by helicopter for a view straight into the interior of the earth.
