  • Island Paradise

"We had a wonderful stay and felt so relaxed and safe here. The condo was perfect for our silver wedding anniversary trip. Ekahi Village is truly first class. The grounds keepers do keep the place beautiful. The pavilion and pool area are very nice and well kept. This location was excellent for nearby access to snorkeling - we saw spotted eagle rays at the snorkeling spots near Po'olenalena Beach and just north of the beach. Sea turtles were seen on every excursion. Golf, casual restaurants in Kihei, great music at Mulligan's are all a very short drive from Ekahi. Relaxing and having meals on the lanai with a beautiful view were a highlight. We sure hope to return and thank Steve and his wife for sharing their beautiful place."

  • A wonderful retreat!

"A group of eight of us rented the Maui Villa and loved it. I had looked online at other properties first and was amazed at what a great deal this one is. The property, inside and out, is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Everything was in working order. Loved that the kitchen was fully stocked. The furnishings and decor are lovely and thematic of islands. The floor plan is convenient and spacious. Kay is helpful, organized, reasonable and genuine. A hospitable manager, she respected our privacy and also answered our questions about the island, flora, etc. I felt like we were living in our own high-end home in a peaceful neighborhood, so close to all that we needed! When we go back to Maui, I hope this place is available for us!"

  • Comfortable and convenient

"I'm writing this review while still here so I'm in the essence of appreciation. I have been enjoying this unit so much. I love the lush Forrest-like views and the bird songs that wake us up each morning. We love to walk and wanted this location in order to walk each morning on the Wailea costal path, which is amazing. It's not on the beach, yet, that is exactly perfect for us... It is a bit of a climb back up from the beach on the side of the roadway, yet the views are quite distracting and our walking is an important and healthy part of our lives, so.... We deliberately travel to places that have a good walking environment and this place is over the top. We get out for our walk early, about 6 - 7 in the morning...when the ocean is calm and other like minded walkers/runners are out and about enjoying this paradise location. Our daughter took in the yoga paddle board class which also begins early in the morning and said it was one of the best yoga experiences ever! To stay here is comfortable, as described by others guests, yet to be in this paradise location and utilize the beaches, paths, restaurants, shops, etc, is the main event. The unit is very nice.... And we found it a perfect match to our needs. The owner was easy to communicate with and willing to please...and we found everything we needed including beach chairs and other required beach equipment... The beach umbrella was appreciated and the little touches to make our stay nice were very much noted. I am wanting my time here to linger slowly and we are already thinking of our next trip back to beautiful Maui and staying here again."

  • outstanding first trip to maui!

"We just got back and absolutely, thoroughly enjoyed our time in Wailea and at this condo. We would strongly recommend the Wailea area and think we'd be hard pressed to find a better unit than this one. Balcony is so great, we ate every meal there the whole week (though the small table seats 4 and we were six, so two always had to sit at another cocktail table). Pool was perfect for our young kids and is literally within 50 steps of the unit, yet far enough away that you can't hear the pool noise. It gets very busy in the mid afternoon and really only accommodates about 20 people (kids!) but was perfect for us. The second pool is a 'quiet zone', where older guests were sunning and reading... it was silent, so we couldn't go near it with our kids. The grounds are really outstanding, and I don't think there was even that much in bloom yet; so lush and an amazing variety of trees and bushes that are all so different than what we have at home. The bedrooms are excellent, beds are comfortable, kids loved the nautical bunk beds. We didn't quite understand the bedroom layout until we arrived - and having the kids' bunk beds virtually in the same room (with a semi-screened, sliding door and not entirely closed off at the top) was a wee bit disruptive, but certainly not enough to prevent us from returning or wholeheartedly recommending this condo. The beaches around Wailea are awesome, sand is finer and softer than those further north. We enjoyed snooping around the gorgeous, high end hotels and enjoyed a morning at the Grand Wailea spa (highly, highly recommended, what a place!). We also did beach yoga through the same hotel, that was a big highlight. The luau at Grand Wailea is also worthwhile, food is good and you can buy reduced price tickets at Costco in Maui which makes it reasonable for a nice dinner and entertainment. One last comment to add, about the tennis club, which this unit overlooks - it was busy on the weekend during our stay, there were events both nights and one went until after midnight (everything else shuts down almost immediately after sunset so we were going to bed by 9:00 or 10:00). It's hardly worth mentioning because it likely wouldn't be a regular occurrence but the sound travelled right up to the balcony where we were sitting, to the point we couldn't have a conversation and went inside. All in all, a gem of a spot in a gorgeous part of the world that you would be lucky to enjoy as we did!"
