"Stayed at the condo for my sister’s wedding and happened to be shut in for the day due to two hurricanes so we cooked and ate in. Every inch of the place seemed to be carefully decorated with art with a tropical pineapple theme; it felt like we were staying in a model home or inside a furniture ad. Yet the place was stocked with everything we could have possibly need including: pots/pans/dishes, rice cooker, … golf clubs, snorkel gear, shelves stocked with sheets and countless towels, board games, collection of DVD’s, etc. My parents could not stop pointing things out to me they’d notice each day, from the pineapple shaped doorstop, to the wooden hula girl lamp. It really showed that the owners put a tremendous amount of thought into making the place look beautiful and also stock it with so many things that were useful."Guest: Ray Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 12, 2014View listing
"My 13 year old son and I stayed here on a father-son getaway and loved it. The condo was clean, roomy, and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the nights were quiet. Beach towels, chairs, and boogie board were very nice to have, and got plenty of use. The unit is very close to a number of great beaches and while we could probably have walked, we chose to drive- it's takes less than 5 minutes, there's ample parking, and it's just easier especially with towels, chairs, etc. We would definitely stay here again!"Guest: Jim P. "Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very spacious, kitchen well-equipped, beach toys provided, clean and neat. Best feature was the very private balcony that faced a tropical garden with lots of birds.<br/>A/C did in Bedrm 2 did not work upon arrival - took 3 days to fix so about 95 temperature. A/C was an original unit. Two pools were small and crowded. No gym. Beach is 5 minute drive."Guest: Richard M. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 30, 2014View listing
"My family and I spent several days in this condo, and I have to say that we can't think of one thing that wasn't awesome! I had the opportunity to check out two other units nearby, and they were no comparison to this quiet, corner unit on the golf course. We made great use of the lanai, for meals, reading, and had a couple friends over for a visit. The nature sounds were abundant, the colorful birds were fun to watch, and we even saw about 30 deer on the golf course early one evening. I was up at the crack of dawn taking sunrise photos with the outline of Haleakala in the background. Then again I was out outside shooting sunset photos with the beautiful cloud formations. The unit has two bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Beds were extremely comfortable and felt new. The air-conditioner cooled off the condo quickly so we were always comfortable. This unit is light and airy because it has windows on two sides of the unit. The kitchen was perfect for our needs, very well stocked. Trash and Recycle Bins are close by in the parking lot. Two nights, we walked down to the pool, grilled our dinner, and brought it back to the lanai to enjoy. We usually go to Costco after landing in Hawaii, and stock up for the week. We get some fresh fish and fruits, veggies and of course muffins! On many mornings, we would walk from the condo down to the Marriott Hotel, and go to the Starbucks there. And then we would walk along the long paved path next to the beach along the ocean. It is so beautiful. Regarding excursions, our favorite beach was McKenna's Big Beach. Just drive south for a few miles and you will see the sign for the McKenna State Park. Our favorite dinner (go at 4:30 to avoid waiting) was at Fred's Mexican Cafe in Kihei, open air, great food, great ambiance! One day, we got delicious sandwiches at the 808 Deli which is in the same complex as Fred's. As if that wasn't enough, the condo owner Sherrie, is a doll. So helpful and wonderful, and couldn't be nicer to deal with. We highly recommend this condo!! Thank you Sherrie! We'll be back!"Guest: Judy and Family Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 6, 2014View listing
