"The condo is very tastefully decorated, spotless, and well stocked with everything needed. All appliances and fixtures are high quality and very well maintained. There is a 5 minutes walk downhill through beautiful grounds of Ekahi village to one of the best beaches on Maui. There are plenty or snorkeling spots, restaurants, and shopping within just a few minutes drive. The owner has been wonderful to work with, prompt, and responsive. He provided complete information about the condo and the surrounding area and great recommendations for activities and places to eat. All instructions were very clear and left no questions. We would definitely stay at the condo again and would highly recommend it to friends and family."Guest: Olga Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 14, 2014View listing
"I have been to Hawaii a number of time and almost always rent a condo for my stay, so have had a range of experiences with rentals. What I really appreciated about this rental was the well appointed kitchen with good quality kitchenware, there were not one but two knife sharpeners! It might sound like a small thing but if you like to spend time in the kitchen this is an important check mark. The numerous kitchen gadgets, high end pots and small appliances that work well was a pleasantry to have. The bed was comfortable; so often properties posted this claim but fail to mention it in the past tense as I am sure their beds were comfortable once upon a time, however that time had long since past. The newly renovated bathroom off of the bedroom was nice. The condo is an end unit, which is a bonus as you only share one wall with the neighbouring unit. The balcony backs onto a wooded area which offers privacy, shade and birds. I thought being close to the driveway might cause some extra noise from vehicles coming and going but it was not issue at all. In short this home at Grand Champions was perfect and I am so happy to have found it. If anyone asks me for a recommendation in Maui I will be sure to have them check your place for availability."Guest: Tracey W. "I'm writing this review while still here so I'm in the essence of appreciation. I have been enjoying this unit so much. I love the lush Forrest-like views and the bird songs that wake us up each morning. We love to walk and wanted this location in order to walk each morning on the Wailea costal path, which is amazing. It's not on the beach, yet, that is exactly perfect for us... It is a bit of a climb back up from the beach on the side of the roadway, yet the views are quite distracting and our walking is an important and healthy part of our lives, so.... We deliberately travel to places that have a good walking environment and this place is over the top. We get out for our walk early, about 6 - 7 in the morning...when the ocean is calm and other like minded walkers/runners are out and about enjoying this paradise location. Our daughter took in the yoga paddle board class which also begins early in the morning and said it was one of the best yoga experiences ever! To stay here is comfortable, as described by others guests, yet to be in this paradise location and utilize the beaches, paths, restaurants, shops, etc, is the main event. The unit is very nice.... And we found it a perfect match to our needs. The owner was easy to communicate with and willing to please...and we found everything we needed including beach chairs and other required beach equipment... The beach umbrella was appreciated and the little touches to make our stay nice were very much noted. I am wanting my time here to linger slowly and we are already thinking of our next trip back to beautiful Maui and staying here again."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 12, 2014View listing
