"Ok, just kidding. The bad news for leaving an honest review is this place will be harder to rent next time. Oh, well. This condo is heaven on earth, or at least on Maui. It has high-end furnishings, fully-stocked kitchen, clean and new linens, modern baths, convenient location, washer/dryer, Weber gas grill, and to-die-for views. All of the photos shown by the owner are 100% accurate. The walk to the beach is short, and there are four pools to use for swimming. The owners, David and Lauren, are fantastic and very attentive. They offered to provide extra beach chairs and boogie boards because we had an extra child staying with us. Their recommendations for surfing instruction were spot on (Maui Beach Boys). They even opened up their own home to allow us to shower and change clothes on the day of our departure. I could not ask for anything more."Guest: Crawdady Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 4, 2014View listing
"As soon as we arrived we were surprised by a welcome basket of local goodies. (Thank you Kanako!) Just like Maui, the unit is more impressive than photos - the ceiling in the living/dining room is nice and high and the view from the balcony at sunset is breath-taking, especially with the beautifully kept golf course in the foreground and mountain and ocean in the background. Our family of 6 adults stayed here. The master bedroom is nice and spacious with a generous bathroom. There is a door separating the toilet from the sink and shower, however there is no door separating the sink/shower from the master bedroom. The third bedroom with 2 twin beds were pushed together to form a king sized bed (as requested) and worked nicely for us. The rooms were comfortable and clean. As other reviews have noted, there were plenty of bath towels and beach towels to use. We really liked the convenience of the kitchen - it allowed us to prepare breakfast and midnight snacks at our leisure. This was much better for us than having to wait for everyone to be ready in the morning before going out for breakfast. We saved a lot of money that way. The kitchen has everything you need, including pots/pans, dishes, cutlery, spices, soap, and dish cloths. You might just have to get more paper towel if you use up the roll provided, depending on the length of your stay. (Same goes with toilet paper!) Having access to a washer and dryer on the balcony was also really convenient. The machines looked brand new. We purposely packed less clothing knowing that we could do a quick load of laundry there. The internet and cable was very adequate. Keep in mind that the wireless internet does not have a password. A/C window units quickly cooled the condo. Note, there is no A/C in the 3rd bedroom, but every bdrm has a ceiling fan. The condo included fun for the beach - boogie boards and 8 beach chairs. The chairs were really useful when we went up to watch the sunset at Haleakala. Grounds of the Grand Champions are beautifully and constantly maintained. There is a security guard who walks around at night. There is a car-washing station that allowed us to rinse off sand from trips to the beach. Communicating with the owner was easy. Kanako always answered my emails and was very kind to mail us our toiletry bag when we discovered that we left it behind. (THANKS AGAIN KANAKO!) Overall, we were very happy that we stayed here and would recommend it to anyone!"Guest: Grace Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 21, 2014View listing
"A group of eight of us rented the Maui Villa and loved it. I had looked online at other properties first and was amazed at what a great deal this one is. The property, inside and out, is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Everything was in working order. Loved that the kitchen was fully stocked. The furnishings and decor are lovely and thematic of islands. The floor plan is convenient and spacious. Kay is helpful, organized, reasonable and genuine. A hospitable manager, she respected our privacy and also answered our questions about the island, flora, etc. I felt like we were living in our own high-end home in a peaceful neighborhood, so close to all that we needed! When we go back to Maui, I hope this place is available for us!"Guest: Jennifer S. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 25, 2014View listing
