  • Great Spot Great Value

"My husband & I and another couple spent 9 wonderful nights here. The condo was nice and perfectly located to get the most out of neighbouring beaches and golf courses. Your closest beach is just a 10 minute walk, as well as the shops at Wailea, and there are plenty of great happy hour spots nearby. (We recommend Gannons!) By far the best part of our stay was the attentiveness of the owner Kanako. When we had a concern about one of the beds squeaking she had it fixed right away. Thank you for such a great experience Kanako!"

  • A Fantastic Stay

"This was my first Maui visit and first VRBO stay, and I would stay here again without hesitation. The owner (Gary) was friendly, helpful and responsive and the condo was clean and well maintained. The location is exceptional --- it is the 3rd closest unit to the ocean and overlooks a gorgeous beach (Keawakapu) that is great for walking, sunning or snorkeling. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night was dream-like. The unit slept four comfortably in two separate good-sized bedrooms. The keyless entry was a great feature as we were able to go from the unit to the swimming pool in 2 minutes or to snorkeling in the ocean in 3 minutes without having to carry any keys or wallets. On afternoons without any breezes having a/c throughout the unit was terrific. The cabinets and furniture are in excellent condition and appear to have been upgraded fairly recently. The lanai is on the small side, but we could still squeeze a family of four onto it for dinner and the trade-off of a smallish lanai for an exceptional dining view was fully worth it. The kitchen was fairly well stocked, and two sit-down dining options were within steps of the unit while very nice (and more reasonably priced) take-out options were a very short drive away. In addition, the building has a decent-sized mini-mart and equipment rental store on the ground floor. The unit has internet access for those who need to stay connected, and previous guests had left copies of Maui Revealed for those who would rather not stay connected. Laundry facilities are located on each floor of the building (about 15 units per floor). Highly recommended."

  • Best location in the complex

"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in Maui. This unit is literally 1 minute away from the beach, yet is located away from the more crowded area of the main pool. There are several building in this complex but the location of this unit is one of the best and definitely worth the extra cost. We encountered turtles and beautiful tropical fish every time we went out snorkeling at the beach by this condo and the one right next to it. The pool was warm and clean. In addition, this unit had everything we needed such as beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, snorkeling gear. etc. There was plenty of room for my teenagers with a pull out sofa bed and the murphy bed. Both beds were surprisingly comfortable, unlike a typical sofa bed. Having the bbq in the patio made our meal planning so much easier. I picked up pre-marinated meat and seafood from the local grocery store, put it on the grill, and voila, dinner was ready. The patio looked out to a beautiful green lawn area where we enjoyed our meals. About this area in general, I prefer it much better than Kaanaapali. We had stayed in Kaanaapali in our past two trips to Maui and it was nice but the location of Ekahi has less of a "resort" feel to it. This was indeed paradise and I would not hesitate to return again."

  • Excellent value in great location

"Wailea Serenity is a comfortable. quiet and well-equipped condo in the Grand Champions complex at Wailea. It's convenient to great beaches and snorkeling, a coastal walking/running trail, golf, tennis, shopping and an array of nearby dining options ranging from food trucks to high-end restaurants. When we stayed in late August, the rental price was a terrific value. The owner's representative is Maui-based and quickly responded to a couple of requests for assistance and information. The process for confirming a reservation, providing payment and obtaining a refund for a security deposit went very smoothly. Serenity is an excellent choice for couples or families with children. My wife and I hope to stay there again the next time we travel to Maui."
