"I stayed at Gregg and Danielle's for a rather long business trip. The grounds are beautiful, the cottage is in great shape and well equipped, the wifi works well, the nearby town of Ha'iku is charming, and there's a good coffeehouse right up the road. I can't wait to come back when there's less work and more fun on the agenda!"

""After many years visiting the majestic island of Maui, we finally found
our dream place at the Pole House with the exceptional hosts, Alain &
Elisabeth. A stunning & peaceful property that we called home for 12
amazing nights with our 2 children (Ruby & Jett). Loved our coconut
experience and your gracious hospitality. ...We are looking forward to
return next year!""

"We concluded our honeymoon in Hana last week and fell in LOVE with this place! I made the mistake of booking the wrong dates at our original B&B which left us without a place to stay for one night. The owner was fabulous and accepted our request to book in between 2 other parties for one night. The seclusion was just what we needed. The accomodations were fantastic! Very clean, well maintained and directions for use of various items to boot! Turns out that we enjoyed this place MUCH more than the original place that we booked. We will definately stay here again. If you want to really experience the paradise/jungle side of the island, stay here! We are so very thankful for our time there."

"We spent 3 nights in this wonderful cottage after spending a week in Kaanapali. These were two completely different experiences, and we are so grateful we decided to spend some time in Hana. We loved the resorts and tourist attractions in Kaanapali and equally loved the lack of tourism, pure nature and beauty of Hana. We had not realized that the cottage would not have AC prior to arrival, but it was not a problem at all. I agree with another reviewer that one should take advantage and open the windows, get the fans going and enjoy! The temperatures at night were quite comfortable. My teenage boys declared Koki Beach in Hana to be their favorite beach ever due to the lovely sand, limited people and wonderful waves for body surfing (and we have done a fair amount of traveling to beaches in the US and overseas). We loved the roadside BBQ stand near Koki Beach and sampled wonderful banana bread across Hana. If you are looking for a couples of family visit where you can enjoy the beauty of Hawaii and also focus on family, Hana is a fantastic place offering just enough to do but not too much in an absolutely gorgeous setting. We appreciated the cottage owner loaning us beach towels, snorkel gear and gifting us some delicious bananas from his incredible yard. The kitchen was well-equipped, and it was nice to have a washer/dryer as well. The porch was our favorite part of the cottage - excellent for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. (Don't forget to star gaze!)"
