"This was by far the best place we stayed at during our recent trip to Hawaii. That included three hotels in Waikiki, and two places on the Big Island. If I have ever dreamed about a place to go to relax, retire permanently , or even a little slice of heaven this is it. We knew it would be good when we drove in after following very well written directions and found our names written on a chalkboard at the front door. From there the discovery of this well-thought out cottage kept us saying "Oh wow!" There's a nice jacuzzi tub when you enter, on a enclosed patio with a reading area and a breakfast table. The living space includes a very comfortable bed and amazing sofa table in the TV area. The kitchen is well equipped, and has a few nibbles to keep you from starving. The best part of all is the bathroom, with a shower room that is covered is green tiles - with live orchids and a skylight. We couldn't say enough positive things about our experience here, would never stay anywhere else in Maui (perhaps except Hana because the trip to get there is so taxing) after staying here. We're afraid to write too good a review because others may book our spot the next time we want to go. If you are interested in this property then look no further, you won't find anything better."

"Very clean and well maintained place with a well appointed kitchen, nice deck with a large gas grill and a great view of the sunset and the coast down below. This house sits in a quiet neighborhood away from traffic, but still fairly close to Haleakala National Park, shopping, the airport and beaches."

"What a great house! The location was excellent too: 15 minutes to Paia beaches, 45 minutes to West Maui, 40 minutes to South Island, 45 minutes to Haleakala, 20 to the airport. Loved being far away from the resorts and goofy tourists! In a very nice neighborhood (except neighbors' dogs barked a lot). I felt right at home here. Incredible ever-changing view (beautiful sunsets), plenty of room for 3 couples. Everything was clean and there was plenty of beach/snorkel/boogie board equipment to use. Much cooler and comfortable UpCountry.
Makawao Town was great, everyone is so friendly, Komodo Bakery was AWESOME, and Casanova had very good Italian food. These were all within walking distance.
Would definitely want to visit again and highly recommend to visitors who like to travel off the beaten path."
