  • Wedding House

"My husband and I rented this house with our entire bridal party for our wedding in January. The home is beyond beautiful and was such a wonderful vacation spot!! It's so close to Paia and the beach, but we hardly ever wanted to leave the house! It was so well kept and well stocked we were able to have fun BBQ's. Highly recommend to anyone!"

  • Maui by the Sea - rent an cottage

"If you want to spend some time in North Shore Maui, I would like to recommend renting a house, apartment or flat. For me personally it is the best way to have a good time in Paia and the neighbourhood. North Shore Maui is very natural and you will find lots of nice beaches there. We found a very nice house in Paia which was five minutes away from the beach. The house, owned by Valerie and Craig, was absolutely nice. It was armed with a full equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, a nice bedroom and a clean bathroom. But the best party of the house was the big terrace with a wonderful sea view. Every morning we woke up, we had a beautiful view on the sun and the sea. For me it was a perfect place to stay in Paia."

  • Awesome house

"This house was amazing. Super clean, beautiful, well maintained, lovely grounds. We had a great time exploring Hana from this spot, and loved coming 'home'. I would highly recommend the property, especially for a small group of adults who enjoy relaxation, cooking, and the company of friends."

  • Great immersion into Hawaiian beauty, serenity and culture

"I've been meaning to write this since our stay in the summer. I just tried to book this home again, but because of it's popularity I missed out. We are a large family, with three 12 year olds and an 11 year old, so finding accommodations for our family can be a bit challenging. This home provided us with everything that we could ask for. It is so close to Mana Foods (an absolute MUST for your food shopping) along with other fun and eclectic boutiques that you barely are away from this amazing location. Next door lives a Blue and Gold Macaw named Cocoa, who every afternoon soars regally over the ocean. My children were so pleased with his aerial demonstrations each evening before dusk. The home was very clean, spacious and had everything you could ask for to immerse yourself in relaxation. Down just a few steps with beautiful teak? wooden railing you are upon the beach. It's a calm small sandy area appropriate for children of all ages and a lovely spot for Mom or Dad to lounge under the shade of a palm and watch them. The pool is smaller than it appears in photos and in a somewhat closed off area. At the time I reserved the house I thought that a pool would be important for my kids - I was very wrong. They wanted to play croquet on the grass and try their hand at boogie boarding and snorkeling right out front. Almost every day we were also treated to a spectacular show of talented kite surfers. Wow! That is amazing to watch. The only down side to renting this house is that it sets the bar very high for return trips, as I'm finding out. Our priorities are beachfront for not only the use and view, but for the soothing sounds and we prefer to avoid the massive crowds of the larger condos where you have to get up at 6:30 to set out towels if you've any hope of getting a chair by the pool. Paia is a really cool and hip town. You'll not find a Gucci or Prada store, but then again... we weren't looking for anything like that, so it suited us beautifully. I hesitate to write this review a bit as I want it to be available next time I wish to rent it, but it really is a beautiful home and location. It looks grandiose (and it is) but it also feels very comfortable and like a home away from home - only better! :)"
