  • very pleased with this bungalow

"spent 4 glorious days in this Hana bungalow---a little tricky to find but once inside, all that was advertised was there---there is now an additional deck swing on the front porch but the favorite place is the hammock on the back porch and the outdoor shower---we were able to get bananas and coconuts upon arrival and later on papayas, lillykoi and peppers from the yard---I would say that a few items could use some updating but overall we were very pleased with the accomodations"

  • Wonderful Paia cottage, once again

"We rented this cottage 4 years ago and finally managed a repeat visit. Great cottage, excellent service from owner, fabulous patio, private, comfortable, 10 minute walk to Paia and beach, everything perfect."

  • Gangbusters! Tropical Hideout/Hangout

"The Listing description didn't include the aloha spirit that is part of Upcountry Maui. The photos reflecting the rental's appearance are right on!......Including the cat with a Namaste sign in the background. The property is clean and well maintained - gardeners and maintenance folks seemed to be always doing something helpful. There was always someone on hand to answer questions. The fun town of Paia is either 4 minutes down the hill (if you're 13 years old or 15 of you're 65). The grocery store, Mana, local eateries, the shave ice lady's place are all favorites for our family. I'd soooooo recommend this place!"

  • Great for our family of 4

"This was a great place for our family of four (mom, dad and daughters 18 and 20). When we first drove up we were a bit concerned because you drive into the garage and can not see the view--just a construction project underway. But when we got into the house it was beautiful--right above the beach with fabulous view windows. You could hear the waves crashing and see the sunrise from the front room. There was plenty of room--a bedroom for the parents and 2 twin beds for the girls off of the main room. The kitchen was fully supplied with all we needed and we were able to barbecue dinner on the little lawn. The owner was very prompt in meeting us. There was a great park and beach in walking distance and lots of other beautiful beaches a short drive away. Staying 2 nights was perfect because it allowed us a leisurely drive out and then a full day and morning in the area."
