  • Charming place

"We had a great time here. Loved the location, and the house is such a charming place. We loved watching the turtles in the water, and even spotted a few whales off in the distance. And the views from the upstairs bedrooms can't be beat. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Paia."

  • Perfect little rental and Paia is wonderful!

"Adorable condo in great complex. 1 minute drive to town but coffee shop small grocery store next door. Everything you need is provided and Martha is great. Mama's Fish House is next door. snorkeling beach is right outside complex. Great to get away from the tourist hotels in Lahaina. Having laundry right there with kids is helpful. I adore Paia. We noticed no noise from the Hana Hwy at all the entire time. Make sure you get the back gate code to go to the beach. It just changed. We would come back for sure. My kids loved it too and felt like they lived in Paia, saying it was the best part of the trip and beat the Hyatt and Sheraton on Kaanapali."

  • "We walked in the door and said "wow". The first night my wife told me the pictures don't do it justice. During our trip we stayed at three places (also the Hyatt and Lokelani Condos) and this was our favorite. Positives: View, decor, carpet-like lawn to play on, ground floor patio (grandpa could watch the kids play on the lawn from the porch), heated pool (kids spent a lot of time there), Paia - we liked it better than Lahaina, Mana Foods, Flatbread, proximity to kitesurfing lessons at Kite Beach, Maui Yoga Studio (wife loved it and would go back to Maui just for that). Would love to stay again sometime. Thanks for sharing it."

  • Peaceful and private studio

"We enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Surfshack. The studio setting is peaceful and private, as it has a deck that looks over a tropical garden. We like to cook, so having a full kitchen was perfect. Beach towels and chairs were provided, which was an added bonus. Kuau is centrally located on the north shore and from there you can access the rest of Maui via short day-trips. After driving around most of the island, we agreed we had found a hidden gem. Close to Paia town, which has a relaxed local feel. There are several restaurants, a fantastic Organic grocery store, also a great coffee and ice-cream shop. Hosts are lovely people, we would return again for sure!"
