"We have made several day trips to Hana over the years, but this was the 1st time we stayed for a few nights. We were able to enjoy things we didn’t have time to do before. This cottage is lovely, filled with natural light and has gorgeous views of the grounds and ocean. The owners have decorated it beautifully and tucked flowers and greens here and there. Sitting on the private deck at night, looking up at the stars was a real treat we don’t get at home with city lights. We had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful few days in Hana. Sam & Mercury, thanks for sharing your place, and those yummy oranges, with us."

"My wife and I spend a wonderfully relaxing two days at the Koali Ranch Cottage. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the ocean, and the cows and horses grazing in the fields. Kitchen and amenities were great. The cottage is small and the dining table is outdoors on the lanai. At first, we were worried about mosquitos in the evening but the citronella candle seemed to have been effective at keeping them away! The cottage is conveniently located south of Hana on the main road to the Oheo Gulch and the Pipiwai Trail but everything was quiet at night. We would definitely stay at the cottage again."

"The price, the location and the space was perfect for my son and I on this last trip to Maui. We were able to cook meals when we wanted and felt comfortable with the drive to the beach and restaurants and anyplace else on the island!~ We had privacy and it was quiet for the most part. You could smell the flowers coming in with the breeze and there are lilikoi in the back. It does get hot up top, but when you open the windows the breeze fills the room and cools everything down. Our hosts were great and I couldn't be happier with the trip! Mahalo!!"

"We stayed in the winter, October 2014, and it was what all the other reviews have already mentioned AND MORE. So many day trips can be had from this location. Hiking to the Bamboo forest is a must. The cottage is just as described by many. We look forward to our return, a very special place in paradise."
