"The surf shack was perfect for the short stay we had in Paia. Although it was kind of hard to find, once we got there the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was great for making our own dinner. There was a cute little store within walking distance and the proximity to get to the road to Hana and Haleakala was perfect. There were a couple of things that it was lacking- no coffee maker and make sure to bring your own soaps and shampoos. We wanted to do laundry, but it was shared and someone had left clothes in the washing machine. Other than that, it was the perfect little studio for what we needed."

"We stayed for two nights in Hana at this wonderful private, home surrounded by nature. It was so nice to leisurely drive the road to Hana - making as many stops as we wanted and never feeling rushed. We then spent a day in Hana and at the Sacred ponds and finished up our time by driving the south side of the island. The views in this area are outstanding."

"A couple of weeks ago, my wife, myself, our four children, and her parents rented the entire house for five glorious days and nights. This B&B is the most unique and peaceful one we have ever stayed at. It is conveniently located near the mostly undiscovered town of Haiku, the small but bustling city of Paia, and the world famous Road to Hana. The Master bedroom offers a ton of space, privacy, and a great view of the gardens. The Ariel suite offers both garden and ocean views. The August suite, which my wife and I stayed in this time, offers a great ocean breeze as well as views of the tropical foliage and ocean. It is more than a B&B, its a home. The amazingly pleasant owners, Chris and Susan Gebb, raised their family in the home and you can feel the love that still permeates throughout. The Gebbs are full of good stories about their life in Maui, as well as suggestions for things to do and places to eat. However, they seem to have the skill to be there when you need them, but not around when you want privacy...amazing talent. If you are looking for true relaxation and tranquility, Windward Gardens is the place. You can stroll the amazing gardens or sit on the lanai with a cup of coffer or tea and look at the tropical gardens and ocean. I know I have said amazing about a million times but there is no other word that comes to mind to describe this indescribable place. We are definitely going to stay at Woodward Gardens again the next time we visit Maui."
