  • Beautiful and clean studio 10 away from beach

"My bf and I stayed in the Sunset studio and were really impressed with the cleanliness and amenities. Upon arriving we received a basket of croissants and local fruit, coffee/tea, etc. We loved that the unit had windows all the way around and we didn't have much noise problems leaving them opened at night for the breeze. Although we are used to street noise from living in a city. Location was great! 10 min walking to Paia Bay Beach and Baldwin Beach. The town of Paia was really cute and the restaurants were not bad either. Definitely stop by Ono Gelato and Tobi's Shaved Ice! There's a great grocery store Mana Foods which is 5 min walking distance. We got breakfast food here to make in the unit, which has a fully functional kitchen! Avis was also great host. We asked if we could borrow some boogie boards and beach chairs and she readily supplied them. All in all, we would definitely recommend Hale Nihi to anyone looking for a low key vacation in Maui."

  • Perfect location

"My wife and I spent 2 nights at this clean and well located space. Being right off the Hanna highway enabled us to drive the highway and have great spots to eat, right down the street from Piai..."

  • Can't wait to come back

"What an unbelievably beautiful setting with accommodations that make you say "wow." From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home - at least how I imagine princesses feel at home. Such luxury, but at the same time totally down to earth. I've stayed in other spots on Maui which have all been great, but this was by far the best experience I've had on the island. It is truly the tropical paradise experience. It's off the beaten path, which makes it so relaxing and peaceful (and an excellent hideaway from tourist Maui) but also close enough to Paia, beaches, and of course all the adventures on the road to Hana. Throw in the most gracious hosts, a wonderful outdoor kitchen, a great pool area, charming bungalows, and the perfect yoga spot (with yoga mats provided!) overlooking the ocean and, well, it goes without saying that I will be coming back again and again (and hopefully soon!). Thank you for the ultimate vacation of relaxation!"

  • Great Place, Great Location

"Minutes from Hana Bay, Clean, very comfortable beds, nice layout for 2 couples, as the bedrooms are on either side of the property. No A/C and the windows had been closed all day, so it took us a while to get the place cooled down. The second night was much cooler with all the fans on and windows open. Only down side was as it's 2 bathrooms, the shower for one bathroom didn't work, so you could only take a bath. I'm a camper and back packer, so I just filled a jug with water and poured it over my head. Others may be more disappointed. Should be an easy fix. Also could use some dish soap, we had dishwasher soap, but no dish soap. Overall, I'd recommend and I'd stay there again."
