"My husband and I absolutely adored the charming Hana Ulu Lulu. It was clean, super comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer than 2 nights. Chris and Leokane were unobtrusive but offered to help in any way they could, we didn't need anything but the peace of this gorgeous place. We especially loved arriving to welcoming Hawaiian music, fresh fruit and beautiful flowers strewn thought the cottage! Mahalo!"Guest: Shannon D. "It was amazing. The view is like no other. It was like our own house with our own space. It was so beautiful. I will definitely come back to visit. Thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful place"Guest: Teresa Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 24, 2014View listing
"This was a pleasant place to stay if you choose to be in the Ha'iku/Makawao/Pa'ia area. I think it's best for two adults, but with the downstairs futon, one additional adult or several children could work. The kitchen and bathroom are well-quipped, which I consider to be generous on the part of the owner. The place was clean and very pleasant, in a nondescript neighborhood. Be mindful that the bedroom is upstairs and the one bathroom is downstairs, which may be an issue for older adults. I think that the little private courtyard could have been cleaned up with shrubs cut back to make it a more pleasant use. We were disappointed that there was no BBQ that we could use. There was a dilapidated grill that was hard to access and may not even have been functional. Devi was most pleasant and a genuinely caring owner who wanted to make sure our stay on her property was a good one. And it was. I think that the rental amount makes it a good value. I would stay there again if that area of Maui were our destination."Guest: Arlene J. Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: January 24, 2014View listing
"We had a wonderful stay in Makawao! This home is beautiful. It is laid out very well and takes full advantage of the spectacular views! Mark, the owner, is extremely friendly and very responsive. We couldn’t have asked for more. The kitchen comes stocked with everything you need to cook a good meal. The full size W/D and laundry room is also very nice to have. We really appreciated all the additional amenities: beach chairs, snorkel gear, hundreds of DVDs, Apple computer, and more. Also, the furniture is extremely comfortable making the house a great place to hangout. The house is close enough to easily walk to Makawao which is a very friendly town that offers several great dinning / shopping options. Overall, this is a beautiful, well equipped house with a very responsive owner. We stayed here for one month and couldn’t have been happier!"Guest: Chris E.
