  • Paradise

"My husband and I loved this place and will hopefully visit again one day. Secluded, peaceful, tropical, artistic, romantic, natural, clean, views, amazing shower. The owners are beautiful ladies and both very kind and accommodating. I had the best sleep listening to the downpour of rain. The property is incredible with fruit trees and ocean views and even a tree swing. An additional bonus is that it is located right next to the natural attractions of Hana...which means when we visited them in the morning we had them 100% to ourselves as the other visitors don't arrive until a bit later (they have to drive hours to get there). Must hike in the bamboo forrest."

  • Perfect little rental and Paia is wonderful!

"Adorable condo in great complex. 1 minute drive to town but coffee shop small grocery store next door. Everything you need is provided and Martha is great. Mama's Fish House is next door. snorkeling beach is right outside complex. Great to get away from the tourist hotels in Lahaina. Having laundry right there with kids is helpful. I adore Paia. We noticed no noise from the Hana Hwy at all the entire time. Make sure you get the back gate code to go to the beach. It just changed. We would come back for sure. My kids loved it too and felt like they lived in Paia, saying it was the best part of the trip and beat the Hyatt and Sheraton on Kaanapali."

  • Good value and quiet!

"This was a pleasant place to stay if you choose to be in the Ha'iku/Makawao/Pa'ia area. I think it's best for two adults, but with the downstairs futon, one additional adult or several children could work. The kitchen and bathroom are well-quipped, which I consider to be generous on the part of the owner. The place was clean and very pleasant, in a nondescript neighborhood. Be mindful that the bedroom is upstairs and the one bathroom is downstairs, which may be an issue for older adults. I think that the little private courtyard could have been cleaned up with shrubs cut back to make it a more pleasant use. We were disappointed that there was no BBQ that we could use. There was a dilapidated grill that was hard to access and may not even have been functional. Devi was most pleasant and a genuinely caring owner who wanted to make sure our stay on her property was a good one. And it was. I think that the rental amount makes it a good value. I would stay there again if that area of Maui were our destination."
