  • Great unit, awesome location, lovely building

"My husband and I and our two little boys (1.5 and 3.5 years) stayed at Paki Maui for 5 days in April 2015 and we had a great time! The unit itself is clean and well stocked. It had everything we could possibly need. The patio was lovely, it is in the middle of a tropical garden courtyard, and we ate most of our meals there. The pool and bbq area are pretty basic but right on the ocean which was nice. And there is a nice grassy stretch with lawn chairs right outside the gate of the pool. There is also a huge park with a playground right next to the complex. We spent a lot of time there. The beach is pretty cool too, lots of shallow pools for the kids. Across the street there are some great little shops. We particularly enjoyed the vegetarian deli/market. They had amazing fresh food and smoothies. So good! Overall we had a lovely time and would stay here again."

  • This is why people go to Hawaii

"This place was excellent. Sunset views every night with Lanai and Molokai on either side of the setting sun. We counted up to 9 green sea turtles visible at a time on the reef directly below the condo. Maui gets windy in the late afternoon, but the lanai is sheltered so we ate all meals and sipped wine there all the time. The sound of waves all night is amazing. At first we would wake up and think it was stormy and then realize it was the waves. Parking at the condo is easy. Farmers Market and another small grocery are close walking distance, and Times is just a few minutes drive away. We walked along the sea wall to the smaller beach just north of the condo. There is a small rocky point there which is also good for snorkeling with the turtles, although the waves do stir up the sand somewhat. We never once turned on the TV. There are a few old games, but we really just spent the whole time looking out at the ocean, palm trees, turtles, and sunsets. Very relaxing."

  • Wish we never left!

"We stayed at Arnold's place at Polynesian Shores from Dec. 26-Jan. 3 and it could not have been better. The condo was clean, comfortable, and the perfect size for a couple like ourselves. We really appreciated the fact that it was a little north of the Kaanipali beach resorts. We're not too into that scene, and the private condo was cool because it was a place all to ourselves. We went to Costco, got some food, made our lunches every day, and weren't constrained by the crowdedness (for lack of a better word) of the resorts. It offered us a calm place to start and end our days. Having 7&7's on the lanai as the sunset was probably our favorite part of the trip. Another thing, we visited other complexes on our trip, and they were filled with families with young children. Which for us, is kind of annoying. However, here, it seemed like a perfect balance of couples, people who ACTUALLY lived there, and young families with children. It wasn't Legoland, or Disney's California Adventure - thank god. It's also close enough to Kaanapali, Lahaina, and pretty much anywhere we needed to go. The only drawback was that we had to drive to almost everything, but I wouldn't even consider that a drawback because parking was never a problem anywhere we went. I mean, if we had to park far away from a beach or something, think about it - you're walking a little more in MAUI. Tough life! Also, Arnold is a great resource for things to do. We had no clue what to do when we booked the trip, but with the couple of things he suggested, it really helped our experience in Maui. Can't wait to go back! Most likely to this exact condo. Aloha! (Hang loose sign)"
