  • Happy Times!

"We stayed at this condo for a week in July and could not ask for a better place to stay! Our first night we were greeted by a sea turtle hanging out on the beach. That was a sign this was going to be an amazing week. Although we had a car on this trip, I walked down to Bad Ass Coffee every morning and enjoyed the ocean view while drinking my mocha. Three days a week there is a growers market within walking distance. Very delicious fruit can be found at the growers market! We were able to rent scooters right down the road from the condo and ride into Lahaina. Since we had a car, we were able to do everything we wanted from this location, to include the Road to Hana and Mount Haleakala. As for the condo, it has everything you will need to have fun on the beach, from towels to floats to portable coolers. The rooms are comfy. With the sliders open, we could hear the ocean 24/7. I could not have asked for a better place to stay! I would recommend this condo to anyone."

  • Private Oceanfront condo

"Wow... What a perfect location, beautiful sunset views, we loved staying at this lovely condo. Everything you need for a great stay is all supplied from beach gear - body boards, snorkel sets (which we used daily) towels, chairs, cooler and plastic tubs for picnic items. The condo has everything you need for cooking at home and hanging out. It all felt so clean and new. We spent time most evenings watching the sun go down from our balcony. The water access is a little precarious but we did it fine, there is reef right there and turtles!! We had a truly great stay here and you will too :)"

  • A little bit of heaven!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed at the Lokelani over 20 years ago and loved it. In October of 2014 my friend and I booked a week here to celebrate our birthdays together, and I'm so glad we did! It has been kept up extremely well over the years.<br/><br/>I love that it is a "low-rise" right on the water, less people to share your space. I felt an intimacy with the ocean that one cannot get from staying in a huge high-rise hotel. I love that I could hear the waves from my bed! The views are amazing, no better place to chill and watch the sunset.<br/><br/>We had a wonderful week and I would love to come back and visit yearly.<br/>"

  • Great stay at Maui Sands

"We stayed in the unit for 12 days in November and LOVED it. The location is amazing, especially with a young child. We could walk down to the park every day and my daughter could decide if she wanted to swim at the little beach there (there is coral that acts as a break so it's a great, calm baby beach) or play on the park structures. We loved being able to walk down to the farmer's market on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - their macaroons are to die for!!! The setting is wonderful with great landscaping. We used the outside grills almost daily which was a great addition and we loved walking down to the shore to watch the sun set. Laundry on site was also nice. Staff and Brie were amazing when our hot water ran out and got it fixed almost immediately. Our only complaint was that it was a little dirty around the edges, though totally manageable. Also, there is only AC in the living room. Now, normally when we visit Hawaii, we would never dream of turning on the AC. Unfortunately, because of the way this unit is situated, the breeze doesn't flow through like a unit that is oceanfront would. We struggled because we would have to keep the bedroom door shut when our daughter was napping and then the bedroom would get warm. If you're able to keep doors open for better circulation you should have no problems. We normally stay in Ka'anapali but we enjoyed this so much we will probably return here! :)"
