  • Just amazing!

"Our first visit to Maui. We arrived at midnight and fell into bed. We were all awake by 6am (still on BC time) and opened the blinds to paradise. We were all excited to see several whales breaching and turtles swimming just off the shore. We are a family of 4. Children aged 9 and 12. We all could have stayed around the condo all the time. The kids enjoyed the pool, lots of other kids around and we enjoyed shuffling around from condo to pool, to beach, with a glass of wine or beer in hand. Everyone was friendly. We visited Lahina and the blowholes and the volcano, all excellent trips. Lahina has a very chilled feel to it, with lots of resturaunts and shops. Our highlight though was definitely the turtles coming up on the shore to sleep on a night, and to sunbathe during the day. Truely a magical place. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We will be back!"

  • Perfect second home in Honokowai

"My parents and I stayed here for 9 days. It's exactly as pictured! The condo's lanai was the best- we had every meal out there while looking out at the magnificent ocean view. We spent most of our time sitting there reading and relaxing. The bamboo floors and flat screen tv made the condo feel more modern. The wifi is fast! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were equipped with fans. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen which was equipped with basic pans and kitchen supplies. They should look into upgrading their coffee machine. The condo was equipped with beach chairs, coolers and boogie boards which made our beach trips more comfortable. The Hale Ono is centrally located in Honokowai, only a few blocks from the Farmers Market and Fish Market. We often walked there and I ran in the mornings to Napili. There is no beach access on the property but the pool and deck were sufficient when we didn't have enough time to go to the beach. It was my parents first time staying in a condo on vacation and they loved it- it truly felt like home in paradise. Lonnie was extremely helpful regarding our reservation and accessible when we had questions about the unit. One reviewer noted that the towels need to be upgraded, I agree."

  • Excellent family vacation

"My family and I stayed here over Spring Break and we were very impressed with the condo. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked with beach accessories and kitchen supplies. My husband and I slept on the comfortable murphy bed so we could fall asleep listening to the waves. We always sat outside on the lanai and watched the whales, turtles, SUP surfers and beautiful sunsets. The owners are very nice and pleasant to deal with and were always available if we needed anything. We will definitely be staying here again!"

  • This is why people go to Hawaii

"This place was excellent. Sunset views every night with Lanai and Molokai on either side of the setting sun. We counted up to 9 green sea turtles visible at a time on the reef directly below the condo. Maui gets windy in the late afternoon, but the lanai is sheltered so we ate all meals and sipped wine there all the time. The sound of waves all night is amazing. At first we would wake up and think it was stormy and then realize it was the waves. Parking at the condo is easy. Farmers Market and another small grocery are close walking distance, and Times is just a few minutes drive away. We walked along the sea wall to the smaller beach just north of the condo. There is a small rocky point there which is also good for snorkeling with the turtles, although the waves do stir up the sand somewhat. We never once turned on the TV. There are a few old games, but we really just spent the whole time looking out at the ocean, palm trees, turtles, and sunsets. Very relaxing."
