  • Awesome Experience!

"This was our 2nd visit to Maui but our first time at this condo. We cannot say enough about it....the view is amazing along with seeing the sea turtles and whales everyday. The condo is decorated beautifully and had everything we needed! The complex is quiet and very well maintained. We are already booked for next year!"

  • Wish we never left!

"We stayed at Arnold's place at Polynesian Shores from Dec. 26-Jan. 3 and it could not have been better. The condo was clean, comfortable, and the perfect size for a couple like ourselves. We really appreciated the fact that it was a little north of the Kaanipali beach resorts. We're not too into that scene, and the private condo was cool because it was a place all to ourselves. We went to Costco, got some food, made our lunches every day, and weren't constrained by the crowdedness (for lack of a better word) of the resorts. It offered us a calm place to start and end our days. Having 7&7's on the lanai as the sunset was probably our favorite part of the trip. Another thing, we visited other complexes on our trip, and they were filled with families with young children. Which for us, is kind of annoying. However, here, it seemed like a perfect balance of couples, people who ACTUALLY lived there, and young families with children. It wasn't Legoland, or Disney's California Adventure - thank god. It's also close enough to Kaanapali, Lahaina, and pretty much anywhere we needed to go. The only drawback was that we had to drive to almost everything, but I wouldn't even consider that a drawback because parking was never a problem anywhere we went. I mean, if we had to park far away from a beach or something, think about it - you're walking a little more in MAUI. Tough life! Also, Arnold is a great resource for things to do. We had no clue what to do when we booked the trip, but with the couple of things he suggested, it really helped our experience in Maui. Can't wait to go back! Most likely to this exact condo. Aloha! • Perfect place to stay in Paradise

"This was the perfect place to stay for our traveling party of 6 (3 couples) From the moment we walked in the door we were blown away by the view (just as shown in the pictures and better). In fact, it was so great that we almost never wanted to leave. We enjoyed numerous dinners while watching gorgeous sunsets (different every night). Marilyn has thought of everything to make this a delightful stay from start to finish. Communication was always easy from the beginning and she provided great suggestions for places to buy groceries, to eat, and for entertainment (try a few--you won't be sorry). Also, I have to say that this condo was the most organized and well equipped place in which I have ever stayed (and I have stayed in many in Hawaii and other places as well). The kitchen was newly remodeled and furnished for any need. There was snorkeling gear, beach chairs, coolers, hair dryers in all bathrooms, even a CD for your Road to Hana trip. Thank you, Marilyn, for having it all! For some, you may want to be aware that there is no air conditioning. It didn't bother us because the cool breezes and the sound of the ocean were sufficient (except for the middle room downstairs---use an extra fan). Being on the second level we were able to keep things open and airy all the time. The grounds at Polynesian Shores are very well kept and lush and people are super friendly. Grills and pool are cleaned daily and were used often. The small sand beach just down the hill to the left was a great place to start snorkeling or just take a dip. Take water shoes with you to help over some rocky areas. Rocky areas up and down, though, were great for turtle watching...Lots of up close pictures. Even if we didn't go to the beach, we were able to watch the turtles from the lanai and also spotted some seals in the distance one day. All, in all, I would recommend this place to anyone and would return in a heartbeat. We all wished that we didn't have to leave. It was the most restful vacation I have had with one of the best views on the island!! Mahalo."

  • Magnificent location! Breathtaking views!

"Best vacation ever! This unit has the most phenomenal views! From the comfortable lanai, you could see the turtles playing in the water, and relax to the most beautiful sunsets. There were also rainbows galore! We had everything we could possibly need from boogy boards to games, to a fully equipt kitchen and one of the most comfortable beds! The Kulakane staff were absolutely fantastic and very helpful! Great location! Truly loved our evening walks along the nearby boardwalk. Can not wait to go back! Would definitely stay in this unit next time!"
