"We enjoyed staying for a week! We hope to come back and stay again in a year or so. We enjoyed swimming and snorkeling right in front of the codo"

  • So much better than the pictures!!!!!!!

"First thing I tried to mark this as a 5 star rating, and it wouldn't let me. It is more than a five star! The pictures to not do justice to this gorgeous home. Mick and his wife spared no expenses in creating a top-notch unit. The appliances are top of the line and the furniture is very comfortable. The lanai is spacious and with nice outdoor furniture. Mick was very pleasant to work with, he made booking easy. This unit in on the 3rd floor, perfect for whale and turtle watching. The complex is right on the ocean! Probably no more than 75 feet away. The pool and hot tub is on the ocean side as well. The unit is within walking distance of two stores, a small farmers market and Bad Ass Coffee company. We almost don't want to share this place and keep it to ourselves, but, that wouldn't be fair to others who will love it as much as we did. We are so happy we found this beautiful condo. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Mick for offering your home to us lucky people!"

  • Paradise!

"We stayed in this lovely condo for 8 nights and it was amazing. They owners have definately outdone themselves in decorating (felt like the warmth of home), the kitchen was well equipped, clean and met all our needs 100%. The property management staff was very helpful. The area for BBQ'ing was so fun with all the fresh herbs a cook/BBQ chef would need! The grounds were immaculate. We also rented a 2 bed/2 bath for our grown/married kids and they loved that condo also. We will be back and very soon!"

Honokowai Travel Tips

Affordable Tropical Vacations in Honokowai Vacation Rentals

How can you stay in one of the world's most beautiful tropical locations at an affordable rate? By using Vacation Rentals by Owner. This allows vacationers to experience West Maui through Honokowai condos; you rent a person's private residence to stay in for your trip. While you're there, you can sometimes get lower rates than a hotel, you can put more people in one place - dividing up the cost. And you can use a full kitchen to cook healthy, affordable meals using local fare, instead of patronizing restaurants. Honokowai vacation rentals are a good ticket to an unforgetable West Maui experience.

The Quiet Beauty of Hawaii

Honokowai is a small town on the west coast of the island of Maui, which is quieter and less populated than the 'big island' of Oahu. Honokowai hosts a state park beach, and is only a few minutes from world famous golf courses in Kanaapali. Many vacationers in Honokowai find that if they just go outside their condo and down to the beach, they can lose half of the day just experiencing the sun and the waves, and watching local wildlife, like the sea turtles that come to the coves to feed.

Finding Your Way to Maui

Getting to Maui is easy; there are daily flights from Honolulu; Maui also has its own airport, though flights from the mainland United States are more expensive. Maui is most famous for its surfing, but the island is also home to massive national and state parks that protect the island's rainforests and coral reefs. The pristine environment is cherished by locals and travelers alike. On Maui, you can climb mountains and go snorkeling in the same day - if you have the energy, that is. But if you do, you can use Vacation Rentals by Owner to crash in your West Maui lodging.
