  • Awesome paradise

"This is the best property on VRBO! We wanted something away from the crowds but on the ocean and this was perfect. First day we had over 200 pound turtle on the beach. We did snorkeling in front of room and saw quite a few fish and lots of turtles. I have already recommended to friends. The condo was just as pics posted. We enjoyed meeting others in the building and joining in the nightly goodnight salute to the sun with the blowing of the conche shells. Everyone was so friendly. Definitely A+++"

  • Lovely Vocation House

"We love this condo, with fantastic view of the ocean. Clean and decorated well. Everything you can think of is available in the kitchen. Convenient laundry room. Quiet neighborhood, supermarket within walking distance. And plenty of parking outside. It is perfect for family with kids."

  • Wish we never left!

"We stayed at Arnold's place at Polynesian Shores from Dec. 26-Jan. 3 and it could not have been better. The condo was clean, comfortable, and the perfect size for a couple like ourselves. We really appreciated the fact that it was a little north of the Kaanipali beach resorts. We're not too into that scene, and the private condo was cool because it was a place all to ourselves. We went to Costco, got some food, made our lunches every day, and weren't constrained by the crowdedness (for lack of a better word) of the resorts. It offered us a calm place to start and end our days. Having 7&7's on the lanai as the sunset was probably our favorite part of the trip. Another thing, we visited other complexes on our trip, and they were filled with families with young children. Which for us, is kind of annoying. However, here, it seemed like a perfect balance of couples, people who ACTUALLY lived there, and young families with children. It wasn't Legoland, or Disney's California Adventure - thank god. It's also close enough to Kaanapali, Lahaina, and pretty much anywhere we needed to go. The only drawback was that we had to drive to almost everything, but I wouldn't even consider that a drawback because parking was never a problem anywhere we went. I mean, if we had to park far away from a beach or something, think about it - you're walking a little more in MAUI. Tough life! Also, Arnold is a great resource for things to do. We had no clue what to do when we booked the trip, but with the couple of things he suggested, it really helped our experience in Maui. Can't wait to go back! Most likely to this exact condo. Aloha! • Clean, Safe, and Roomy!

"Had a great stay for 11 days at Hale Ono Loa. It was very clean and well-kept. Beds were super comfortable with nice linens. Towels were soft and very clean as well - hard to find at some places!! Had lots things to use for the beach (boogie boards, toys, coolers etc). Margie was always able to be reached when we couldn't find things right under our nose (wi-fi password, extra hidden closet). Loved hearing the waves right at your door. Saw turtles and whales almost everyday. Pool was clean, BBQ was nice (wouldn't get super hot for steaks - my dad is a picky BBQ-er though :-) TV and DVD were in great working order. Only problem was the parking for an additional car (we had 4 people and a toddler) and having to use washer and dryer on property, but we knew that going there so it wasn't really a "problem" but a minor set-back. Overall, it was a great place and highly recommend it! Would stay again!!!!"
