Excellent time in MAUI - Nice Apartment!!!
"First time using Vrbo and I am very pleased. We (a family of four, boys 9 and 14) had a very nice week here. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. I rarely used the kitchen but I noticed it has a lot of things for cooking. For me it was really important to have a quick response from the owner the time that I needed it. We enjoyed everything: the apartment, the service and of course MAUI."

"We had the pleasure of staying in Konea 539 this past week and absolutely loved our time there! The unit was beautiful, very clean, in great shape and very well stocked. The pictures attached to the listing really give a true representation of what you can expect when you walk in.
The rental company was easy to work with and left keys for us to pick up on our way into town. There were a few things that could have made our stay a bit easier which is why we didn't give a full five stars but is also why we're writing this review so the next renter has a heads up. When you arrive at the tower we had no idea what to do: drive to the front of the second tower (Konea) and go inside to pay for your parking for the duration of your stay. They will then give you a parking pass so you can get into the garage. Upon entry take a sharp right, park and head up that elevator as it is the closest to your room.
The other things that we had asked about were if there were chairs or any beach items in the unit. We were told they didn't know but there may be something. Well after renting a crib, beach chairs and an umbrella (which the rental company did a great job helping us get into the unit before we got there so big bonus), we did arrive to find a pack and play, two beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys and small cooler in the units closet. We understand that these things may come and go as renters do but maybe wait to see whats there as there was some stuff.
The view is amazing, the fold out bed was a normal not so comfy thin thing but I've slept on way worse. The kitchen had a great amount of pots, pans, cups and a few spices. Watch out for the birds though! With the two fold away walls which made for amazing ocean breezes we also got hit on both sides by sparrows attempting to access any food scraps they could find. They're bold (made it in the bedroom even) so don't leave for the pool with the doors open!
Overall we had an absolutely amazing trip. This location on the property was fantastic, location to access the island was great and the grounds of Honua Kai are breathtaking. We were incredibly comfortable here with four adults and two children (lots of families and new friends to meet in the pool), and would definitely come back and stay in this condo again! We thank the owners for sharing it with us and look forward to our next visit to Honua Kai!! Mahalo!"

"We booked this condo based on the other reviews and were not at all disappointed. The condo was well stocked with all of those items you usually have to purchase or rent (or try to stuff in your luggage!) - a boogie board, 4 beach chairs, kids sand toys, beach towels, umbrellas, etc. Silke was fantastic to work with. She checked in with us before, during, and after our stay, making us feel like we were staying at a friend's place instead of a rented condo. She even made sure the condo was stocked with enough beach towels (the max allowed) to support our group. The resort itself was fantastic. The pools were great for the kids and the adults loved the beach - it was great for both wading in up to your chest/shoulders and then snorkeling among the coral shortly beyond that (whoever complained about "rocks" is crazy - there is a smooth beach up to the chest/shoulders followed by coral filled with fish, eels, and sea turtles - great snorkeling right out your door! wear water shoes and you are just fine with any stray rock/coral that may come in closer). The BBQs on property were nice and Duke's restaurant was fantastic. All this in close driving distance to many other great restaurants (and a grocery store). The mountain view was beautiful with rainbows every day. Our four-year old wanted to go hunt for the pot of gold because you could often see both ends! We have already recommended this resort and specifically this condo to friends because of our amazing experience. Thank you Silke! (One note - We discovered too late there was a pack and play in the closet - we brought ours. I don't know if it works or if it is still there, but you may want to check in with Silke before hauling yours on the plane! I imagine this was left by a prior group and not really supplied by the owner so she may not even know about it! There was even a small stroller!)"

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Beautiful condo with big bathrooms, washer and drier. The living area and kitchen were fabulous. Because of construction a bit noisy, but there was a nice view."
