Kaanapali Beach Club condos are a high rise luxury accommodation located smack on the beach. Touting a one acre pool with waterslide, it is a definite hit for the kids. The condos have all you need including a soaking tub and kitchenette. You also get to be totally lazy with daily maid service and room service, and not so lazy with the exercise center. Not a lot of driving around is needed here. Kaanapali Beach is the place to be with a four mile stretch of sand that allows you some privacy even though you are in the middle of it all. You can also go snorkeling here at Black Rock! If you want a different beach for awhile and still have a safe place for the kids, get to Launiupoko State Wayside Park. It's a great place for children, just south of Lahaina with a large wading pool with giant boulders on either side protecting the pool from heavy surf. There are restrooms, showers, barbeque grills and picnic tables. Weekends are crowded so a weekday visit is best.

Molokini Snorkeling is the number one snorkeling adventure in the entire set of Hawaii islands. It is likely you have seen it in film or pictures somewhere. If you are unsure, Google it. Visibility in the water is around 150 feet. It is an offshore caldera so you need a boat to get there. Of course, services exist to transport you and provide you with all the gear you need. Once you have been there you will make sure you get there again.
