  • 35th Anniversary in Paradise

"If you have come across this listing, search no more !! Marriott Maui Ocean Club is a fabulous resort. The owners, Ken and Matt, were extremely friendly and answered all our questions. The ease of this VRBO made our vacation to Maui perfect. All the information you need is sent to you and check in was a breeze. The hotel staff is very helpful and have terrific sightseeing advice. We recommend Valley Isle Tours of Hana, snorkeling at Molokini, try a kayak trip and whale watching with Pacific Whale Foundation. We stayed in an oceanfront one bedroom that had a kitchenette and two full bathrooms. The room was very clean, quite large and you will love the mango scented shampoo and lotion. Many guests we met poolside said the ocean view and mountain view rooms were very nice too. BBQ grills allowed us to make some delicious meals and were a fun place make friends. We also never had trouble getting a pool chair or towels. Picture yourself enjoying warm crystal clear pools, trying every water sport imaginable right on the beach and walking to shops and restaurants within minutes. We visited in February 2015 and saw so many magnificent whales right in front of the resort. One of the random pictures of our daughter paddle boarding has a whale breaching in the background ! You will really enjoy vacationing at this condo. We are planning to return to Maui and hope we can rent from Ken and Matt again."

  • Relaxing and wonderful

"Kevin was very helpful in matching our needs with one of his units. He communicated directly and honestly about the unit, the process and what we would find once at the Marriott. Check in was smooth and the well kept unit worked very well for our purposes. I would highly recommend Kevin and the Marriott. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, from the pool and the beach to the beautiful, well-kept unit, to the complimentary classes offered (zumba, yoga, etc). Kaanapali is one of our favorite locations. Thank you, Kevin, for making arrangements and smoothing the way for a seamless, memorable vacation experience."

  • Very Nice Condo

"Everything was wonderful and beautiful. The view was breathless. Even though this particular condo did not have a stove, there was a community kitchen you could cook in and take your food back to your condo. The other vacationers we met in the kitchen were very friendly and fun to meet. :)"

  • Great Location, Perfect Blend of Peace & Quiet and Family Activity Options

"The 2-bedroom oceanfront condo we rented for 7 nights was a perfect fit for our family of 6 -- plenty of room, comfortable beds (and pull-outs), spacious bathrooms. The kitchen was reasonably well-stocked: had all the essentials (including a great quality blender) but could have had a few more plates, storage containers for leftovers, etc. as we did a lot of cooking and barbequeing that week. Stacked washer/dryer were perfect and appreciated that laundry detergent was provided. Favorite time was the mornings --whether we were watching whales while sipping smoothies out on one of the two (smallish) patios, or going for a walk/job along the beachside walkway, or hitting the hot tub before stumbling out to the beach for a quiet, sun-on-your-back chill session with nature and maybe a few surfer dudes. The resort facilities were excellent, and I think Marriott probably has the best location of all the sites along Ka'anapali Beach, especially with its huge sandy beach. The first day I walked up to Blackrock to snorkel, but soon learned that the reefs straight out in front of the Marriott are just as nice with lots of fish, and less walking. Pools were excellent quality, though if you don't like crowds then avoid the middle one -- the two side pools are nice and quiet. Both the room and the resort facilities were exactly as advertised, just like the pictures show. Overall, though a bit on the spendy side, I'd highly recommend Marriott Maui Ocean Club Resort and also Maui Resort Realty, who were very low-key and easy to work with."
