"I'm trying hard to think of any single thing this unit is lacking - and failing! Beautifully renovated, squeaky clean. As one reviewer said, the beach walk through the complex is busy, we found it great for people watching and didn't bother us at all, plus we enjoyed hopping onto the path and walking. Amazing pool and beach, unit provides everything for fun at the beach."

Great property that really made our honeymoon stay perfect!
"This was our first time using VRBO personally. From the initial contact, Rhonda and Joe were very responsive and really made us feel comfortable with moving forward renting their property. Upon arrival, Joe met us in the hotel lobby and made sure we were all set in the property and gave us some great information on how to get around Maui! The property is as exactly as represented on VRBO. It is very nice, comfortable and very clean! Top notch property. The beach chairs, snorkel equipment, and beach towels in the room are definitely an added bonus! As was the coffee, champagne and chocolates! Being on the 7th floor, this room is in a great location with great views of the ocean and courtyard area! The sunsets are just beautiful! This room is located in a very quite area of the hotel, away from elevators. The hotel is located in an area that is centrally located on the west side of Maui. You're not far from the old town of Lahaina and only 5-6 miles away from Napili beach area. Also there is a grocery store that you can walk to across the street which is perfect! Also, Duke's on this property is really great too! We will definitely be renting from Rhonda and Joe again! They really made our honeymoon in Maui stress free and very enjoyable! Thank you Rhonda and Joe!"

"Loved our recent visit to Maui and our stay at the Mahana in 1003. The condo looked great, as advertised on this site. The bed was super comfortable and the rest of the furniture was really nice too. We were happy to see how well equipped the kitchen was, it had everything we needed. I appreciated all the little extras such as paper supplies, soaps and the like. The owners were great to work with and I would highly recommend this unit to everyone. Some of our many highlights are seeing a double rainbow right off the balcony, seeing a pod of at least 20 dolphins, and of coarse the turtles. Thanks so much, we are frequent visitors to Maui and love the Mahana. I believe you will really enjoy this condo."

"My husband and I picked this location (based on the exceptional reviews) to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and we weren't disappointed. The condo was fantastic! We loved it and all the amenities that we could have required, they have it all. It's a nice quiet part of the complex and if that's the kind of environment you seek, this is it. Our favourite was the lanai of course, and it was so nice to sit out in the evenings with the doors open, music on, and the wine poured. The boardwalk and beach walk (which goes all the way to Whaler's Village) was our daily workout with runs and walks. So much to see along the way!
At our resort we made plenty use of the pool and beach. The entire grounds are gorgeous, the pools lovely, and the scenery is stunning. We preferred the beach because it was less busy then the pools and hearing the constant waves is music to the ears. If you are lucky like we were, the giant turtles would slowly swim by and poke their heads out of the water for air - pretty cool. There is a market on site called "Aina Market" that has great snacks and the best lattes I've ever had. Duke's Restaurant is really good and the service is spot-on. A nice location for Happy Hour too!
The weather was great overall but there were a couple days of super strong trade winds which apparently affected all the islands. We took a drive up to Hana on one of the iffy days and THAT was quite the experience! Glad we did it, but not sure I'd do it again. By the time we were heading back, I was so done with all the twisting and tight turns, but it is definitely a must-see in Maui.
We had a great 10 days there and we would love to return again some day, especially to this exact spot. It's our third trip to the islands in 4 years and with the other trips we've taken elsewhere, Hawaii is our favourite vacation place."
