  • Very relaxing. Perfect for a family with young children.

"After a few weeks of very busy stressful work, it was such a pleasure to walk into this lovely condo. Immediately my husband and I felt the stress melt out of us. The condo is clean, well appointed, and has all the amenities one needs for a week-plus stay. The view is spectacular and one that I enjoyed waking to each morning. I could easily sit and read on the lanai and listen to the waves along the sea wall. Our entire family enjoyed the amenities of Papakea. The swimming pool and hot tub were hot spots each day and the real treat was being able to "night swim" something my 5 and 7 year olds have never had the pleasure of doing. Proximity to the board walk and Kaanapali beach was also a big plus. Being an easy drive to Napili, our favorite beach, was wonderful. I am currently in a post Hawaii funk, mainly due to how nice we had it staying in this condo and at Papakea. Thanks to Carol for her kindness and ease in renting this place. We will definitely look into renting it again in (hopefully) the near future."

"We just returned from a stay in this condo and found it to be perfect for our needs. The views were stunning and overwhelming to our senses as we come from the Midwest and are not used to such magnificent views! There were five in our party, which meant one had to sleep on the sofa bed. She had no complaints and found it to be comfortable. The beds in the bedrooms were also pleasing. My favorite part was taking a shower in the master bath and being able to view the ocean and palm trees while bathing. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and some paper products. We made use of the washer/dryer combo in the unit as it was so handy. This made for less work upon returning home as no huge pile of laundry! Also, we rented a car for our duration and parking was never an issue. We generally do not vacation in the same place twice but should we decide to return to Maui again, this unit will be the first place we look for availability. Book it! You won't be disappointed! :)"

  • Relaxing Retreat

"Place is excellent! Kept clean and owner very concerning for our well being. Everything as described. Great location near everything and super convenient shops just across the street (5 min. walk). The only downside was that there was construction in our direct view and the renters in the same compound really weren't the most quiet. Being our first time in Hawai'i, it was actually nice to have an expedia local expert as the concierge (first morning's free breakfast). She was very knowledgeable and helpful in setting up any activities that you may want. Just do your homework so that you're not buying something that isn't a deal. Place had comprehensive list of places to go etc. The owner's recommended restaurant was indeed excellent, "the seahouse restaurant"."

  • Papakea

"My family of 9 had a fantastic time in your condo. The condo, view and perfect location was perfect. Close walk to the grocery store and close to great beaches. We had access to so many extras that were greatly appreciated. The only thing I could suggest would be some good pots and pans and BBQ tools. We would definitely stay here again and are just waiting for our next trip to Maui. All of my questions were answered quickly and efficiently."
