"This condo is exquisite !!! The Dolphin Building is my favorite location on the property - the loft is more like a real bedroom than a typical loft - both showers have the multi body sprays and are yummy. This is a perfect resort if you do not want the typical loud high rise hotel. Beach is crazy gorgeous and not crowded. The hotel shuttle gets you anywhere you want to go locally without driving. Perfect spot for south and north adventures. Be sure to stop and get laundry soap if you want to use their washer/dryer and your favorite spices, if you want to cook. The kitchen is fantastic and beautiful - love the frig with the water/ice in the door, too !!!"

Westin Kannapali Ocean Resort a great destination.
"The property is well maintained and the staff is very helpful if you need anything. Maui Resort Realty was easy and informative to work with. The condo they secured for us had everything we needed along with a great ocean view. After exploring the island we used the oceanfront grills to make our dinner and enjoyed the sunset. The snorkeling in front of the resort was some of the best we did on the island. Thanks for a wonderful Maui stay!"

"My husband and I stayed for a week in the Westin Ocean Villas and loved every minute of it. The hotel staff was wonderful from check-in to valet to pool service. We had a studio unit on one of the upper floors facing the ocean. Amazing views! The kitchen has all necessary appliances (microwave w/cooking feature, full refrigerator, stove top, dishwasher). We grilled at the outdoor grills for dinner 2 nights. We grabbed groceries at the Costco by the Kahului airport on our way to the resort and ate breakfast every morning on the balcony. We packed picnic lunches most days & hiked all along the west/northwest coastline from Kapalua on up. We also picked up fresh sushi and some other items at the Times grocery store just north of the villas (approx 3 mi).
The property was very well-kept, the pools were perfect, and we also enjoyed the hot tubs in the evening. Being there in January, the ocean water was a bit too chilly for me but my husband did snorkel 1 day.
You can walk or take the free shuttle to Whalers Village if you are wanting to shop, check out other restaurants/bars or coffee shops. We walked the boardwalk every morning all the way down to the end where there is a public beach. The boardwalk is great ... it extends roughly 3 miles south of the Westin Villas and 1/2-1 mi north. We enjoyed walking north to Dukes Restaurant. There is a fantastic little coffee shop (Island Vintage Coffee) that serves coffees, teas, smoothies, breakfast & lunch at Whalers Village.
You can also take the free shuttle down to Front Street which is where the harbor is, tons of shopping & restaurants. We actually enjoyed Whalers Village the most for shopping. We ate at Kimo's on Front Street, very good.
The beach is very nice. You can walk the beach up to Black Rock (Sheraton), then walk the boardwalk around the Sheraton & go back to walking on the beach. Some areas south of the Sheraton do not have much beach. You can also walk the beach north quite a ways.
Thank you for renting us your fabulous home away from home. This was a beautiful property and we will definitely be going back!"

"Always a great treat to come back and visit this immaculate place. We we're here 4 years ago and it looks just a beautiful, meticulous hard working staff.
This time we traveled with our 4 and 6 year old and stayed in a Studio. Worked out quite well actually not knowing if the kids would be willing to hunk together. We typically ate breakfast and lunch in the room, so just having the kitchenette was a bit small but we made do. Sure is nice having a full size refrigerator in a studio (don't forget to turn off the ice maker at bedtime- KERPLUNK!).
After our last trip here getting to know how well the shuttles were organized by Starwood- we decided when we'd come back we would not rent a car. WOW! I called the concierge a few weeks before our trip and he only would recommend Speedishuttle. Very well done. While staying at the Villas we used the free shuttles into town, to grab groceries and to go to nearby Starwood properties. A very pleasant experience all around- great drivers with aloha smiles!!
Pools are amazing- beach is perfect but umbrellas can rent out pretty early so go have yours setup and it's yours rented for the entire day.
When we come back to Maui we will stay at this same location or the newer one being constructed next door to the north."
