"My family returned recently from staying at this rental. We were 2 couples and 2 granddaughters (6 & 10- they slept in the loft.) . We had a great time, and loved the condo. There was plenty of room and it had everything we needed. There were coolers & boogie boards for the beach. Plenty of dishware. There are basic supplies that people have left, we added to them. You can't get a better view. Beds were comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone. We BBQ'd almost everynight. Never had a problem finding an open BBQ, they were spotless and clean, always. My son used the expedia people at the office for some activities and was totally satisfied. The contact that I had with the front office was minimal, but everyone was always gracious and helpful. I am actually in the process of planning "a girls trip" for next year, and we are coming back to this condo. It is convenient to everything, there is a Times supermarket across the street, and an ABC store right next door. The weather was extremely hot during our stay, and as noted there is no air conditioner. Opening the front door and letting the trade winds blow through took care of cooling off, worked great for us, but if air conditioning is a deal breaker for you, be mindful of when you are traveling. All in all I can't say enough about the condo, other than book me for next year."

  • Maui 2014

"Just returned from a 10 day visit to Maui at Hank & Linda's Condo. My wife & I are frequent visitors to the islands and it never gets tiring. Without question Maui is our favorite destination. The beaches, golf courses, scenery and weather are hard to beat. This Ka'anapali Shores condo is an ideal place to unwind. Felt like home really with all of the amenities available. The only extra item we brought was a portable backgammon game we always take with us when traveling. Usually most people over pack on a 10 day trip, but because there was a washer & dryer in the condo, it required less packing of clothes. That proved to be very helpful since we always return home with more clothes than we brought. Really like that the lanai is facing at an angle that prevents the sun from shining directly on it, thus making it very comfortable to sit and relax without getting overheated and still have a great view of the ocean. We especially liked the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and the bottles of rum a previous vacationer left in the cupboard. (still some left) All in all a very fine experience. Thanks Hank & Linda for allowing us to use your condo. Mahalo."

  • The picutres don't do it justice

"This place was perfect for our needs. The locations is fantastic - close walk to Whaler's Village and great restaurants, right on the beach, short drive to Lahaina, groceries, and anything else you might want. There was plenty of space for our three kids (7, 13, and 16) to spread out without getting on each other's nerves and the pool was great too. The view from the lanai is great and we got to see the Luau next door at the Westin several nights during our stay. We didn't hear noise from any other adjacent units and really felt like it was a home base for our travels."

  • Wonderful Room, Wonderful Stay!

"The room came exactly as described! I've stayed at this resort many times, but never in this nice a room with this good of a view. It was a pleasure working with Jay! He was very easy to work with and gave great advise about Maui. We look forward to hopefully booking with him again in future years!"
