"We've stayed at this condo several times and will definitely stay here again and again. This unit is in the "J" building, the closest to the beach and a short walk to the big pool/BBQ area, and the price is right! The recent updates to the the space are clean and modern. All new appliances, everything works wonderfully! There are extra towels, beach chairs, and some boogie boards. The beach has excellent snorkeling and the beach is never really crowded. The cabana is handy, they provide towels and beach chairs, refrigerator for snacks, ice, and even a "lending library" of books travelers have left behind. Working with the owner is easy, she's available for questions and eager to please. The on-site staff are very friendly, always ready to help when needed. We walked to Whaler's Village everyday, great places to eat and watch the sunset. There are plenty of activities nearby, surf lessons, canoeing, jumping from Black Rock, a great time had by all!!"Guest: Jen Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 4, 2014View listing
"This was our second year in a row staying at the Papakea. We stayed last year in a second floor unit in the H building and enjoyed our stay. This year our unit was on the ground floor in the K building. The location was great. Walking out our slider we had direct access to everything (putting green, hot tub, pool, grill, shuffle board). It was also much closer to the beach. The unit was in great condition. I had called prior to booking this unit because I saw the one negative comment made in 2011. I was informed by the management company that this must have been done in error but they had no ability to get it changed or removed. I can attest to the great condition of this unit. The pictures accurately portrait the condition of this unit."Guest: Carl Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 22, 2014View listing
"I loved our stay at Maui Kai! The condo is comfortable and what a view!! My daughter(16) actually preferred the more laid back atmosphere of maui Kai vs. Next door beach club! Thank you for sharing your home! I definitely will be back!"Guest: Angela L. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 30, 2014View listing
"Perfect condo for my husband's and my second honeymoon! The full-sized kitchen with dishwasher was amazing because we love to cook (and hate eating out for every meal while on vacation)! The large third-floor balcony was perfect for eating dinner overlooking the ocean. We also were able to pack only carry-ons for our 7-day trip because of the in-unit washer/dryer. We almost didn't come because of the threats of hurricanes Iselle and Julio, but we are SO glad we did! As a result, though, we didn't have much planned activity-wise prior to our arrival. Both the on-site agent and the journal from past guests in the room were super helpful as we planned out our week. Overall, great location, great grounds, and a wonderful vacation!"Guest: Ryan Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 12, 2014View listing
