  • Two Words. THE BEST

"We arrived late. The music, fans all going, lights on. Patricia makes sure you're having a great time from the minute you walk in. We took the Murphy beds because you can see and hear the ocean from that room. Loved it. They are very comfortable. The other bed was very comfy too, but loved listening to that water. The kitchen was awesome, more than enough extra goods there for spices and even coffee in the freezer. Love the first floor. Don't have to walk a mile to get to the pool and ocean. The BBQ right there. It was like our own private back yard. The whale watching was fantastic from the lanai with coffee in hand. The wall of windows that slide all the way open makes it feel like you are outside in the living room. We were the envy of the complex. Can't say enough about this unit at Hololani. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Great location to take off and go anywhere on the Island. Thanks again Patricia, for the best time, I and our friends ever had in Maui. Debbie"

  • Quaint community right on the ocean

"This was a wonderful respite to start and end each day of exploring Maui. Three of us stayed for one relaxing week. The property is very kid-friendly. Most days the pool and grassy area were filled with children enjoying themselves. You can't beat falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. The bedroom downstairs is private, but the "bedroom" upstairs is an open loft with railing that looks down into the living room. A little less private but lovely nonetheless."

  • FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY

"This was our first time to this condo. As soon as we opened the door we knew we would be very happy staying here. The living room is all hawaiian print, everything matches even the bedding you see in the first bedroom. We kept the doors open on the lanai all night and could listen to the ocean from our bedroom. The lanai was fantastic. We watched whales in the distance, blowing and jumping. Quite a spectacular sight to see. We also were lucky to see turtles every day. One night there were about 3-4 of them all congregated together. Very fun. We were only about 10 minutes from downtown Lahaina where we dined on great food and did a lot of shopping. Golf is all around the island. We played at Kahili and King Kamehameha. We enjoyed both courses. We will definately come back to this condo. We enjoyed every minute of it."

  • What a spectacular home away from home!

"What a view! From the moment we opened the door, we were swept away by the proximity to the water, and the views of Lanai and Molokai. We ran from room to room to explore, and were never disappointed. The master bedroom, with its views of the water was phenomenal, and our daughter very much appreciated her own room with her ensuite bathroom. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, with a wide variety of spices in the cupboard. There wasn't anything that we looked for that we couldn't easily find. The washer / dryer was a bonus, as this allowed us to pare down the amount of clothing we would normally bring for an extended stay. Doug's assistance was invaluable leading up to the rental period. He even sent us a number of brochures for local activities prior to our leaving for Maui so we could maximize our time spent on the island. There's a selection of stores within walking distance to secure the essentials, so if you don't want to travel too far, you really don't have to venture out by car unless you feel the need to explore. As other reviewers have mentioned, the unit is well stocked. We very much appreciated the beach gear that was included... beach towels, beach chairs, noodles and various aquatic equipment. On a technical note, the owner has recently installed a lockset on the front door that does away with keys. We arrived, went up the elevator and were in the unit in less than two minutes from locking the car. No need to check in with an office, or worry about taking keys with you to the pool, beach or excursion. Very convenient. During the day, we could see the whales breaching off the coast and the beautiful sunsets from the lanai, and a double rainbow one day that arched from Lanai to Molokai. Almost as spectacular were the stars on the clear nights. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo to friends or family, and only hope we get the chance to venture to Maui again soon, as I know where I want home base to be."
