"We had a great time on our vacation. We travel a fair bit but this is the first vacation for us in three years. the unit had everything you could need for cooking meals which we did always and had a great BBQ area too. The kids had a great time eating every meal on the linai which had a great view of the ocean. we saw cruise ships and turtles from it! the complex was quiet and well cared for. would certainly recommend this unit to family and friends who travel to hawaii. The price was reasonable and so close everything you need. we plan to go back when we can get away for another vacation."

"This condo was very comfortable, spacious, and well stocked. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The small intimate beach is only a few steps away. We were so happy NOT to be in one of the huge mega resorts as we have been before, and also not to be in one of the many high rise condominium projects. This little section of Kahana has houses and low rise condominiums. The location is great for going out to dinner in Lahaina or even closer. This is the first time we have used VRBO, and I was surprised at first that I felt that I was in someone's home. So I had to remind myself that is what VRBO is and we would not have the intimate casual private atmosphere if we had gone the regular hotel route. I recommend this condo for families with children. The beach, pool and condo are all set for kids! I particularly liked the large windows and view. Also, there are large gas grills in the pool area. If you are adults without children, choose a week that is not during a school holiday or spring break -- actually that is true for all of Hawaii!
We loved the snorkel trip and zip lining. Our adult children took the road to Hana and had a blast. We also LOVED the Fish Market which is right down (south) the road a few blocks for fresh grilled fish. You can call ahead for take out. Beware that it closes at 7 p.m.! fishmarketmaui.com Maui Brewing Company is right around the corner -- food was good, not great, but it was fun. We also liked Lahaina Fish Company, especially sitting right on the water."

"My husband, 3 year old son and I just returned from a magical 11 night stay in Maureen's lovely condo! It was our first time staying at the Kahana Sunset, and the condo as well as the Kahana Sunset exceeded our expectations in every way.
Maureen was wonderful to work with, and we truly appreciated how accomodating she was with a couple of requests we had. The condo was extremely spacious, and we loved the layout with the two bedrooms upstairs, each with an A/C unit, which came in handy on some nights. The kitchen was large, well-stocked, and we made many meals in it!
The Kahana Sunset grounds are beautiful, and the heated pool was used every day by our son. And having a private beach right in front was priceless! We love Napili and Kapalua beaches, short drives away, but many days we simply decided to walk down to "our" sandy beach, perfect for digging, swimming and snorkeling. And having many resident turtles around was the icing on top!
This was our best trip to Maui yet, and Maureen and her condo were the reason why. We can't wait to return!"
