  • Best Vacation Ever!!!!

"My wife and I, along with my Son and his wife, wanted a luxury condo, ON THE BEACH. We didn't want to be in a "resort" with 5 or 6 floors, and lots of people with kids. We definitely hit the jackpot when we decided to book this condo. It is a gated community, and this condo is literally 20 feet to the beach, and about 15 feet to the pool. My wife rarely goes into the ocean, because it is either to deep, or because of the waves. At this beach, the barrier reef which is further out, breaks the waves before the roll in to the shore. She spent hours in the water for the first time ever!!!! The entire condo was luxurious, quite, and relaxing. Listening to waves at night, and having coffee on the lanai, with gentle trade winds blowing was amazing. Restaurants and Front Street were all within walking distance. Several Cruise Ships docked offshore at the Front Street Harbor, which we could see from our Lanai. This vacation was like one that millionaires can take, but is affordable for just about everyone. We were nearly in tears when we had to leave. The good thing is that we are already planning to return again next September, this time with my Daughter. We can't thank you enough. Gary, Jan, Eric, and Molly."

  • Wonderful location and fine amenities!

"Location of this one bedroom condo was wonderful, only a couple of blocks from Front Street. The amenities were very good, TV's in both the bedroom and living room, washer & dryer, full kitchen, dishwasher, wonderful slate installed in the bathroom and shower. Although the unit had wall mounted air-conditioners, we hardly used them, preferring the fans in the rooms instead. Sara had thoughtfully put a notebook together with all the local sights, restaurants, important phone numbers, etc. We found the recommendations for the road to Hana very helpful. Sara was very responsive when I reported problems with the toilet; she sent her husband to fix it that morning. The Cons- only 3 of the 4 stove tops were in operation. I would also suggest a couple of large bowls, a potato peeler and a tea strainer. The walls of the Ainu Nalu are very thin- I could actually hear the guy snoring next door while watching TV in the living room. Free Wifi is spotty at the pool and even when it was good, I was bitten all over by the mosquitoes there. I understand wifi is also available in the lobby. Parking is expensive at the resort while outside lots cost less. We found that free parking on the streets is doable but might take awhile to find, esp. on Sunday nights. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again."

  • Puamana 20-4

"Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Traveled to Maui to celebrate my sisters 50th anniversary. Unit was located next to the water with a large grassy area between the front door and the waves. Ocean breezes were a blessing as the unit has no air conditioning just ceiling fans, however the front room fan would not operate as fast as the bedroom limiting the amount of cooling. Overall a great experience and fantastic location to view the sunsets every day. Unit is well appointed with everything we could have possibly needed. We got lost trying to find the unit as the street sign is hidden by foliage so we passed the road and had to turn around and come back to the intersection. Unit is showing it's age and needs some attention to make it more appealing. The bedroom screen door would fall of it's rollers when opened and should be considered for replacement. The rear bathroom toilet wax seal appeared to be leaking as there was brown water on the tile around the base. There was mold in the sealer around the shower door in the rear bathroom and around the tub in the front bathroom and most disgusting of all was mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers where the dish towels and utensils were located. I know that in a tropical location bugs and rodents are a constant battle but the management company might want to consider a good walk through/cleaning before guests arrive."
