  • Location is key to a great experience!

"This property was a perfect location - a walk to Lahiana and right across the street from the beach. This townhouse has a view from the front porch to the waterfront even though it is not sitting on the beach but just take you chairs walk across the street to the open lawn area and join everyone else for the nightly ritual of drinks, conversation and watching the sun set. Note - the beach is not sandy so water shoes were needed for swimming - great place surfing and paddle boards - we had our own free entertainment. The townhouse was perfect for us - a great front porch that looked toward the water and a private back patio with a grill and close to the family pool (but not too close so you don't hear the noise.) Washer and dryer (we didn't take a lot of clothes and just did laundry as needed), comfortable King size bed and the pull out bed in the living room for our daughter and grandson. Comfortable townhouse - great vacation!"

  • Absolutely Lovely!

"This review is coming a few months late, but I wanted to make sure that I left a review. We went to Maui for our wedding, and this rental made it such a dream of a vacation! My family and I LOVED it! Robin was very organized and easy for me to work with in getting everything set prior to our arrival. We had 7 people, including me, my husband, our daughters, and three family members. This was a great rental for such a good-sized group. It was kept up pristinely, decorated with that nice tropical feel, had plenty of towels (different bath vs beach towels), beach toys for the kids, kitchen was well-stocked with supplies (should be everything you need), etc. The view was amazing and the sound of the ocean waves as we woke up and fell asleep was just as wonderful. The location was nice with a mile walk down a path to get to Lahaina shopping area. The one thing to be aware of if you have small children, the beach right off of the property isn't great for wading. However, there's one you can access if you drive out and then around. Some adults in our group felt comfortable walking down the shore over to the beach I'm mentioning (sorry can't remember the name), but I didn't feel comfortable having the kids do that. But, I have to say this slight detail wasn't enough for me to take away a star from this property. Our girls still loved running around, loved the hammock, and had fun in the pool. Overall, we truly loved this vacation rental and would certainly love to return the next time we have a larger group!"

  • Lovely spot on maui, with a caveat

"We stayed here over Christmas with our two sons, ages 11 and 13. Booking and dealing with the management went smooth and easy. The townhouse is spacious and as advertised.... We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, each having our own bedroom, and having lots of space to spread out. I loved being close to Lahaina.... we didn't walk there as it was probably about 30 min walk away with no actual sidewalk, just a shoulder, but it was about a 5 min drive, close to grocery shopping, feast at lele, surfing lessons , Front street etc. The townhouse is in the last section of townhouses before Puamana beach park (public beach) but we didn't notice any issues from that. It is located right on the highway, and at first I thought it would really annoy me, as I am very sensitive to noise, but we found if we kept the door on that side of the house closed, it wasn't noticeable. Our eyes and ears were drawn to the other side of the house, with the ocean! A couple things I wish I'd known: although the townhouse is oceanfront, you are not allowed to access the beach in front of your townhouse. You have to walk way way down to a common access point, which is super annoying. There are signs and caution tape all along the shoreline saying $250 fine if you go down to the beach at a no access point. But to carry all the gear and walk around is annoying, when paying for a waterfront place..... You have to haul stuff as far as if you were not renting waterfront. The other thing is that the beach is sandy with pockets of big rocks. We went swimming without watershoes and within 15 minutes we all had cut feet, my husbands pretty badly. So if you swim there, be sure to wear Aqua socks. I'm torn about staying here again.... The place itself was nice, location on Maui great.... But I think I'd try to find a place where I was allowed to access the beach right at my rental."
