"My fiance and friends stayed at this unit during our much needed spring break on Maui. The places truly feels like a home, as it is tastefully decorated and contains EVERYTHING you could possibly imagine for your vacation (beach chairs, soft top surfboard, a cooler, towels, etc). You can whatever it is you need here, including peace of mind, as the unit is located in the serene, tranquil, and magical strip of paradise known as Puamana. Joanna is an amazing person who truly epitomizes the Aloha spirit. I think that you would have to be insanely critical to find one thing wrong with this amazing property."

"My family of 3 spent a 5 days vacation at this wonderful condo in Puamana. The place is well kept and has nice kitchen for cooking at home, relaxing and watching the beautiful sunset. A kid's pool near-by was great for my little one, and beautiful community ground that is fun to walk around. For those want to explore Lahaina, it's about 20 min walk to Lahaina downtown, and can be difficult at night. So, i'd recommend family with younger child drive a few min if dinning at downtown Lahaina. When we were there, it does has a small beach 80 foot away. But pending on the tide, it's only accessible to play on the sand sometimes. We saw many surfing and paddle boards out there. There're beach parks near by, but likely you have to drive over. Other than that, this condo offer many great experiences and we'd say here again."

"This rental is so perfect. I cannot say enough about how awesome it was. It had everything we needed. Karen was great to work with. It was our first trip to Maui/Hawaii and it was fabulous. As we traveled around Maui we kept thinking there was probably a better place to stay since it was our first trip and we did not use a travel agent. But this rental was amazing. During our stay, we were so thankful for our place to stay. Karen has truly thought of everything - beach towels, boogie boards, hair dryers, ziplock bags, board games, water shoes in several sizes, vinegar, twin air mattress. We bought food and cooked most of our meals on the Barbeque. We watched whales from the Lanai almost every day. Our children 7,9, & 11 loved the beach being so close. We also saw sea turtles almost every day and especially when we used the paddle boards that we rented. After the first day we set up a "medical station" because almost everyone had a foot wound, either from the rocks in the ocean or a sea urchin. But once we all figured out that we needed to step carefully when in the water or not touch the bottom, all was well. The pool was a little farther away than we thought, but it didn't deter us from going at least once each day. We went on a boat to Molokini island which promised whale watching, snorkeling and turtle sightings. It was about $75 per person but it was a complete waste of money because we saw much better whale watching and turtle sightings from this house, right out the front door. It was worth every penny."

"We stayed here over Christmas with our two sons, ages 11 and 13. Booking and dealing with the management went smooth and easy. The townhouse is spacious and as advertised.... We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, each having our own bedroom, and having lots of space to spread out. I loved being close to Lahaina.... we didn't walk there as it was probably about 30 min walk away with no actual sidewalk, just a shoulder, but it was about a 5 min drive, close to grocery shopping, feast at lele, surfing lessons , Front street etc. The townhouse is in the last section of townhouses before Puamana beach park (public beach) but we didn't notice any issues from that. It is located right on the highway, and at first I thought it would really annoy me, as I am very sensitive to noise, but we found if we kept the door on that side of the house closed, it wasn't noticeable. Our eyes and ears were drawn to the other side of the house, with the ocean!
A couple things I wish I'd known: although the townhouse is oceanfront, you are not allowed to access the beach in front of your townhouse. You have to walk way way down to a common access point, which is super annoying. There are signs and caution tape all along the shoreline saying $250 fine if you go down to the beach at a no access point. But to carry all the gear and walk around is annoying, when paying for a waterfront place..... You have to haul stuff as far as if you were not renting waterfront. The other thing is that the beach is sandy with pockets of big rocks. We went swimming without watershoes and within 15 minutes we all had cut feet, my husbands pretty badly. So if you swim there, be sure to wear Aqua socks.
I'm torn about staying here again.... The place itself was nice, location on Maui great.... But I think I'd try to find a place where I was allowed to access the beach right at my rental."
