"We were very impressed with the condo and its location. The unit was clean and well equipped and its location at the South end of the Front Street business area in Lahaina couldn't be better. Everything of interest was within walking distance - restaurants, shops, waterfront, and access to recreational activities. The Polynesian Voyaging Society building and restoration site for traditional voyaging canoes was just a few blocks away and we enjoyed watching numerous whales from our South side deck. The owner was friendly and very helpful and we'd have no reservations about recommending this place."

"My wife and I spent ten wonderful nights in this amazing house. The house is centrally located to everything we enjoyed: one mile to a nice beach, three miles to Lahiana and the great restaurants (Lahiana Grill was our favorite) and galleries , 40 minutes to Paia (the beginning of the road to Hana) and 20 minutes to Kaanapali Beach.
We ate most of our dinners in busy Lahiana (although the kitchen has everything you need) and after dinner we were able to return to the extremely private, peaceful and quiet house with Tiki torches, waterfall and amazing views. Although, not as good as the restaurants (but please don't tell my wife), one evening we ate dinner at the house utilizing the outdoor kitchen/grill and enjoyed the veranda and views.
Beach equipment such as beach chairs, paperback books, and cooler (no beach umbrella so we donated the one we purchased) made outings to the beach more enjoyable. And after many hours at the beach and in the ocean, we enjoyed coming back and utilizing the refreshing pool and hot tub.
I recommend this house without reservations and if we ever return to Maui we would love to stay there again. Erin was extremely professional and cooperative and helped to make our stay in the house even more enjoyable. PS, loved the gift basket filled with chocolate delights!"

"We had a wonderful week! Saw many, many, whales right from the back patio sipping coffee in the morning, very relaxing. It is a quiet, comfortable home right on the beach. The waves lull you to sleep every night. Nice swimming pool and fun surfing. It was a pleasant 1 mile walk or bike ride into downtown Lahaina."

"We stayed here over Christmas with our two sons, ages 11 and 13. Booking and dealing with the management went smooth and easy. The townhouse is spacious and as advertised.... We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, each having our own bedroom, and having lots of space to spread out. I loved being close to Lahaina.... we didn't walk there as it was probably about 30 min walk away with no actual sidewalk, just a shoulder, but it was about a 5 min drive, close to grocery shopping, feast at lele, surfing lessons , Front street etc. The townhouse is in the last section of townhouses before Puamana beach park (public beach) but we didn't notice any issues from that. It is located right on the highway, and at first I thought it would really annoy me, as I am very sensitive to noise, but we found if we kept the door on that side of the house closed, it wasn't noticeable. Our eyes and ears were drawn to the other side of the house, with the ocean!
A couple things I wish I'd known: although the townhouse is oceanfront, you are not allowed to access the beach in front of your townhouse. You have to walk way way down to a common access point, which is super annoying. There are signs and caution tape all along the shoreline saying $250 fine if you go down to the beach at a no access point. But to carry all the gear and walk around is annoying, when paying for a waterfront place..... You have to haul stuff as far as if you were not renting waterfront. The other thing is that the beach is sandy with pockets of big rocks. We went swimming without watershoes and within 15 minutes we all had cut feet, my husbands pretty badly. So if you swim there, be sure to wear Aqua socks.
I'm torn about staying here again.... The place itself was nice, location on Maui great.... But I think I'd try to find a place where I was allowed to access the beach right at my rental."
