"Our family of 6 adults and 2 kids spent an amazing 7 days here! The kids slept on the pull out couch. Being the shortest of the 3 couples (5'10" and 6'0"), my hubby and I got the 3rd floor bedroom with the twin beds. The room does have a proper door and the a/c works great, but standing up straight was hard and we did bump our heads once or twice. The kitchen was great and well appointed with everything you need! We cooked breakfast every day and some dinners. There is even a small ice chest to take cold water with you on your adventures. Our favorite thing to do at the house was sit outside and wait for the sea turtles to pop their heads up. They were there almost all the time! We also saw a group of 3 or 4 spotted eagle rays swimming by! The downside is the beach is very rocky, which is of course why the turtles like it! I would highly suggest wearing water shoes if you go in. But we still enjoyed swimming and boogie boarding right behind the house. It is so nice that there are beach chairs you can take with you. We also rented a kayak down in Lahaina and paddled it back to the house. From the kayak we saw a Hawaiian monk seal 4 times! He hangs out near where the channel is dug out on the south end of Lahaina. It was amazing to see such a rare animal in the wild! And we loved watching the sunset by the water as well. The house is in a great location, easy drive to Lahaina and Ka'anapali. The pools at the condo complex were a little small and warm, so we didn't use them much. The complex security people are pretty serious, constantly driving around on their golf carts. My son left the hammock out one night and it got confiscated. Luckily the office gave it back to us for free but said they would charge us if it happened again. If you like to snorkel, I highly recommend going up to Black Rock in Ka'anapali. It was amazing and the sea turtles were swimming right on the beach with all the people! We loved the Old Lahaina Luau, and were told by the locals that it is the best. We ate at Honu twice and loved it. Ask for a table by the water! If you are looking for a condo instead of a big resort, you will enjoy this condo."
