"This is a lovely place to stay in a great location, being a short walk to the historic town of Lahaina. Steve is very easy to deal with and responsive to our questions. Little to add to previous reviewers except to say that we did manage to park on the street each evening, saving us $20 per night, and we made use of the BBQ available by the pools. The Old Lahaina Luao, about 30m mins walk away, was a wonderful experience and worth the cost."

"Do you know that feeling when you open the door and instantly you know you are right about it? That feeling? That is what you get here.
Very nice, very clean FULL equipped kitchen and bathrooms.
Lots of details: 3 TVs, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, fins, 8-10 towels in the bathrooms, beach towels, condiments for the food, powerful A/C, nice pools, etc.
The only thing I did not like is having to pay 20usd a day for the parking so I parked for free at the street.
Only 2 blocks to Front st, 10 min walk to the beach. Stop looking. This is your house in Lahaina.
Perfect for two couples or a family with kids"

"This home provided the perfect location for our group of co-worker friends following a job in Kappalua.
The property is located in a gated community about a 5 minute drive from downtown Lahania. It is near all the action and the perfect distance removed from it as well! The property comes with many rules due to its location within this gated community. Once we got past all the "NO" signs we made peace with it and considered it a part of having a home in such a development.
Karen, the owner, was extremely responsive and very helpful - she answered a call from us when upon arrival the internet wasn't working - and apologized later for the failed router. The grill was also a mess from previous guests not cleaning it properly and we mentioned this as well. I think incorporating a request to clean it following use would be a good addition to the "house rules" for future guests.
Everything else in the home worked perfectly. The home is very comfortable and well equipped with good quality furniture, a very nice kitchen with most condiments/spices and a dishwasher, beach toys and boards, towels, and a washer dryer. The AC units worked hard but were effective in cooling the home for a good nights sleep. The lanai was our favorite gathering place for both morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The view is breathtaking and never gets old. We all left with many, many sunset photos.
For a group of friends, couples or families this home is an affordable and, in our opinion preferable, alternative to a hotel. More room, a full kitchen, a washer/dryer, and the perfect entertainment - the pacific.
Karen - thanks so much for sharing your slice of heaven with us - it was the perfect place for our recovery from the job and an ideal base from which to explore all the wonders of Maui.

"We were very happy to stay at Puamana. It was a family vacation with us, our two adult daughters and their husbands. We all had our own rooms and privacy, and we were also able to enjoy each other's company in the common living room/dining room. Having a kitchen meant that we could have breakfasts, lunches and some dinners 'at home'. The amenities were homey and the rooms were clean and well stocked with everything that we needed.
We loved the ocean pool - sitting out watching the waves, surfers and sunsets. the proximity to Lahaina was great. It was a relaxing and truly Hawaiian vacation! We would definitely return!"
