  • Nice Location and feeling of safety

"We stayed in two units while visited there, Both Privately owned, and Jamie's was the second Unit. Although both Units were about the same, We liked the fact of the down stairs location of his, and the closeness of both pools. The first Unit was closer to the road, upstairs and further away from the pools . Some how it felt safer tucked in being in Jamie's Unit. We Loved Both Units, and they BOTH HAD THEIR PROS & CONS. The only suggestion I would make for Jamie's Unit is that he make his more "homier" , as the owner of the first Unit had. Since we stayed there for 21 days ( 1 week in one unit & 2 in the other) We became familiar with some staff members there who where more than helpful and friendly. I personally made friends with two of the staff who made us feel more like family than guests. Since our Son lives in Lahaina , We often visit and this has been far the best place yet to stay! it was easy for us to walk every where to meet him & his family when needed. plus just "get away" on our own. Thank you for everything & YOU will see us again. Aloha for now"

  • Very comfortable and good value

"We spent 3 weeks at this condo and were very happy with it. When you enter there is a long hallway and to the right is the bedroom with air conditioning and a comfortable king size bed. The bathroom is next and it's huge and recently remodeled. Water pressure is great and there's lots of hot water and clean towels. What surprised me most were the expansive windows in the living room and the fabulous view of the Island of Lanai and a bigger lanai than I expected. We liked the smallness of the complex; not too many people in the pool at one time, it was quiet and the property amenities like the barbecue and common room weren't overly busy. But best of all was watching the turtles who were feeding out front. My husband and I cooked the majority of our meals and ate on the lanai as eating out in Maui is not cheap although there were a number of very good restaurants close by. We were very satisfied with the kitchen appliances and the layout of the kitchen which provided ample counter space. Once in a while we slept on the sofa in the living room as we loved listening to the waves. The sofa pulled out to a queen bed and surprisingly enough, was quite comfortable. During the afternoon we recommend pulling down the outside blinds as the condo can get quite warm. However, there is air conditioning and it does work, so that helped cool the place down on the odd day it became too warm. Usually there's a nice breeze coming through if you open the slats on the front door and open the sliding doors to the lanai. Kudos to the Lahaina Roads property manager who kept the pool and grounds spotless and lit the tiki lights faithfully every night. And when we had a minor problem with the lockbox the manager of the property was quick to respond and sent the handyman over promptly. As mentioned in other reviews the location is great, close to Safeway and Cannery Mall and a twenty minute walk at best to Lahaina Town. There's also a nice walkway off the highway where there are numerous beaches. Turn left out of the complex then left at the lights and as you drive you will see numerous parking lots and beaches on the left. It was great fun...Thank you to the managers for a pleasant stay."

  • Lahina Shores #615

"Be assured, everything you read in the vrbo write up is right on to the letter. View superb, spotless, very tasteful furnishings, dishes, utensils, coffee maker/with coffee all clean & ready to go. Towels, toiletries, & all necessary beach equipment supplied. I spent 13 days & never had to make a request of any kind to the front desk. The walk to town is easy & there are restaurants & a grocery store within 100 yards of the complex. Need say no more, "goose" g."

  • Perfect all around!!

"My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights in December, and, if possible, we will always come back to this location. The owners were SO wonderful and responsive to us. The condo was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We could walk right out the patio doors to the beach (a nice little beach for easy snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding), grassy lounge area, hot tub and swimming pool without having to wait for an elevator - it truly felt like our own private little beach apartment. The location is perfect, as we were just a 3-minute walk to the restaurants and shops on Front Street, and centrally located for an easy drive to the North or South shore areas, as well as the airport. The apartment was well-stocked with everything we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. You absolutely cannot go wrong here!"
