  • Hidden Gem so close to downtown Lahaina!

"My husband and I spent 3 wonderful weeks in this unit and were very pleased! The unit was well stocked with all the necessities. It was very clean and the updates were wonderful! Loved the stone shower!!! The view of the mountains was exquisite. Coffee on the lanai watching the sun come up was amazing. This was such a good value as we had been on the ocean side the previous year and were able to cut our costs in half by booking the mountain side. There was a little more street noise to be expected but nothing the owner could do anything about. We could always close the door!! We loved the location and were able to ride the bus anywhere we needed to go. This trip we did not even rent a car and with the bus system we were able to get everywhere we wanted. We visited far away amazing beaches, went to the aquarium, went shopping, bookstore. This is an amazing unit and location.Ke"

  • great location

"location of apartment is great. right in the middle of town, but far enough from busy streets. restaurants, stores, and the water were within short walking distance. madeleine was quick to respond to inquiries. amenities were excellent, except for lack of a microwave. parking spots were tight though, but seems to be a maui thing."

"Be assured, everything you read in the vrbo write up is right on to the letter. View superb, spotless, very tasteful furnishings, dishes, utensils, coffee maker/with coffee all clean & ready to go. Towels, toiletries, & all necessary beach equipment supplied. I spent 13 days & never had to make a request of any kind to the front desk. The walk to town is easy & there are restaurants & a grocery store within 100 yards of the complex. Need say no more, "goose" g."

  • Can't beat it

"This rental is so perfect. I cannot say enough about how awesome it was. It had everything we needed. Karen was great to work with. It was our first trip to Maui/Hawaii and it was fabulous. As we traveled around Maui we kept thinking there was probably a better place to stay since it was our first trip and we did not use a travel agent. But this rental was amazing. During our stay, we were so thankful for our place to stay. Karen has truly thought of everything - beach towels, boogie boards, hair dryers, ziplock bags, board games, water shoes in several sizes, vinegar, twin air mattress. We bought food and cooked most of our meals on the Barbeque. We watched whales from the Lanai almost every day. Our children 7,9, & 11 loved the beach being so close. We also saw sea turtles almost every day and especially when we used the paddle boards that we rented. After the first day we set up a "medical station" because almost everyone had a foot wound, either from the rocks in the ocean or a sea urchin. But once we all figured out that we needed to step carefully when in the water or not touch the bottom, all was well. The pool was a little farther away than we thought, but it didn't deter us from going at least once each day. We went on a boat to Molokini island which promised whale watching, snorkeling and turtle sightings. It was about $75 per person but it was a complete waste of money because we saw much better whale watching and turtle sightings from this house, right out the front door. It was worth every penny."
