"My husband and two young boys loved our stay at this tastefully decorated condominium. Highlights during our vacation included amazing snorkeling and peaceful walks at the nearby beaches, the wonderful ocean view from the master bedroom and patio, and the close proximity to blow holes and natural pools. We also loved the quiet neighborhood, and conveniently located swimming pool and barbecue! We can't wait to go back!"Guest: Kristin Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: October 6, 2014View listing
"This property is all about location, location, location. It is arguably the closest to the water on Maui. You have great ocean views of both Molokai and Lanai, which add much interest instead of blank horizon. The condo is small, fine for a couple, no more. There is a A/C "window" unit in the bedroom, which you'll want at night since the unit faces due west and the afternoon sun warms up considerably 85 degrees in early May. (I take along a travel thermometer, which is accurate). There are no curtains for the front sliding glass patio doors. I was able to get the outside patio pull down "blinds" to work (others have said they didn't work) which you can see through easily from inside the unit, but don't provide a great deal of shade. You'll want to leave the front door open to generate the "tropical breezes" that do eventually cool the unit as evening progresses. Note that as anyone comes through the lobby, they are lined up exactly to look through your condo. The ladder for water entry is problematic as the steps are the same 2" diameter round metal as the sides. We would have expected the steps to be more typical of a pool ladder with a wide horizontal section for each step. We say several people approach the ladder but saw no one actually use it. Best water entry is at the extreme south section of the property which is easy. As many folks pointed out, the "beach" section to the north comes and goes with the tide. Snorkeling is only fair as the water is quite shallow. On the positive side, the property grounds are absolutely lovely with a wide variety of tropical plants, scrubs and trees, all seem to be well cared for. Their are 4 gas grills that saw heavy use each day. The following morning, a worker cleans them very well, "ready for inspection". Amazing to me, as we have seem so many times at other resort properties, folks use them and walk away, no one cleans them. All in all, Kuleana is a great value for the money and a great way to enjoy West Maui."Guest: Robert H. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 13, 2014View listing
"My wife and I have stayed here twice and enjoyed it both times. The unit, which overlooks the golf course and "Kapalua corner" (Office Road and Lower Honoapiilani Road), also has a view of the ocean, and it is immaculate in every respect. There are plenty of beach things, a nice little library (and many brochures about Hawaii), TV and internet, full kitchen, and it's close to the pool and barbecue area. All appliances and plumbing work fine, and between the air conditioning, the ceiling fans and the breezes that come through when the doors are open, you can really fine tune the inside environment. The owner is accomodating and easy to deal with. This is a perfect place for a "no hassles" stay, and we fully recommend it."Guest: Jerry Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 22, 2014View listing
"This was our first trip to Maui and we were ecstatic we found this condo. After searching many in the area we feel confident this was the best choice. Besides the unit being nicely decorated, the amenities are top notch. Not only has Sandy made a beautiful second home, from the pool to the outdoor bbq’s it’s obvious all the owners take great pride in this facility. Sandy was great to work with and the process was seamless. After spending a little time near the large resorts it was nice to come back to this quiet and not over populated piece of the beach. Definitely a gem and we’ll be returning soon! Highly recommended!"Guest: Clayton M. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 11, 2014View listing
Launiupoko Travel Tips
Vacation on Maui With Launiupoko Vacation Rentals
Maui is the second island in the Hawaiian island chain, and according to some, it is one of the most beautiful. It has miles of sandy beaches, acres of diverse wildlife parks, and is small enough that you can watch the sun rise over the ocean from one side in the morning, and drive to the other side to watch the sun set over the ocean at night. With Launiupoko vacation rentals, you will be able to rent out one of the luxurious Launiupoko condos and literally be right on one of West Maui's best beaches.
Vacation Rentals by Owner let you Enjoy Your Vacation Without Tourist Stress
With Launiupoko vacation rentals, you can relax just like you're at home. In fact, when you stay at the Launiupoko condos, you might just never want to leave. West Maui vacation rentals make this possible, and give you the option to choose where you want to stay, how long you want to stay, and what kind of amenities will be provided for you. The nice thing about vacation rentals is that you really can live like a local; buy your own food, make your own meals, and throw your own parties.
Skip the Cramped Hotels and Stretch Your Legs
Because Hawaii is such a popular tourist spot, hotels and B&Bs can fill up quickly. With vacation rentals, you can spread out just like you're living at home. Plus, with the West Maui Forest Reserve in your backyard, and Puamana Park Beach in your front yard, you have plenty to do without having to get in a car or hail a cab. West Maui is accessible too, so inter-island transport is a breeze, and when you return back to your lodgings at the end of the day, it will be like going back home.
