  • Wonderful location and fine amenities!

"Location of this one bedroom condo was wonderful, only a couple of blocks from Front Street. The amenities were very good, TV's in both the bedroom and living room, washer & dryer, full kitchen, dishwasher, wonderful slate installed in the bathroom and shower. Although the unit had wall mounted air-conditioners, we hardly used them, preferring the fans in the rooms instead. Sara had thoughtfully put a notebook together with all the local sights, restaurants, important phone numbers, etc. We found the recommendations for the road to Hana very helpful. Sara was very responsive when I reported problems with the toilet; she sent her husband to fix it that morning. The Cons- only 3 of the 4 stove tops were in operation. I would also suggest a couple of large bowls, a potato peeler and a tea strainer. The walls of the Ainu Nalu are very thin- I could actually hear the guy snoring next door while watching TV in the living room. Free Wifi is spotty at the pool and even when it was good, I was bitten all over by the mosquitoes there. I understand wifi is also available in the lobby. Parking is expensive at the resort while outside lots cost less. We found that free parking on the streets is doable but might take awhile to find, esp. on Sunday nights. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again."

  • This unit is in great condition and an ideal location

"This was our second year in a row staying at the Papakea. We stayed last year in a second floor unit in the H building and enjoyed our stay. This year our unit was on the ground floor in the K building. The location was great. Walking out our slider we had direct access to everything (putting green, hot tub, pool, grill, shuffle board). It was also much closer to the beach. The unit was in great condition. I had called prior to booking this unit because I saw the one negative comment made in 2011. I was informed by the management company that this must have been done in error but they had no ability to get it changed or removed. I can attest to the great condition of this unit. The pictures accurately portrait the condition of this unit."

  • Loved the Turtle Villa

"This was our first trip to Maui and we absolutely couldn't have been happier with the Turtle Villa. It was beautiful, clean and in a perfect location in Kaanapali. West Maui is amazing with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. We couldn't stop staring at the scenery. Beautiful beaches are a 15 minute walk from the condo, have to walk around the golf course but a very pleasant walk with beautiful flowering trees all around. The condo was gorgeous and very clean. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. Loved the turtle theme. The air conditioning was on and kept the unit very comfortable. The washer and dryer were helpful and the kitchen was up to date and stocked with everything you could use. The beds were comfortable and we loved the shower in the master bathroom. My favorite areas though were the beautiful lanais where we spent many mornings drinking coffee and enjoying the view. My husband, 3 teenage children and I truly enjoyed the condo and the beautiful surrounding. We did a lot of snorkeling in nearby waters, black rock beach, Napili Bay and Kaanapli beach. The only thing missing that would have been helpful would be beach towels but other than that, we couldn't have been happier. The management company was very easy to work with when booking the condo and were very helpful when we arrived. We asked for late checkout and were able to get it which was extremely helpful since we had a late flight and we really wanted to spend more time there. The pool on the grounds is clean and beautiful and my children enjoyed swimming there at the end of the day. Nearby Whalers Village has lots to do. Great shopping and restaurants. Also had a small shopping plaza right next to the Kaanapali Royal which was very convenient. Lahaina was a 5-10 minute drive away and lots of fun to shop in and walk around. We enjoyed the Old Lahaina Luau, would definitely recommend. The ground of Kaanapali Royal were beautiful and very well kept up. Cecil and Cheryl have truly made this condo one to remember. Cheryl's daughter had a binder full of tips and recommendations which were truly helpful. Mahalo for that. Thank you again Cecil and Cheryl for allowing us to enjoy your home."

  • So relaxing!

"My husband and I stayed at this lovely Condo recently during our holiday to Hawaii from Australia. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet location and the wonderful sunsets every night from the Lanai. The Condo has everything you need as others have mentioned. Thanks to the local snorkelling shop's advice (Boss Frogs) we had a fantastic day at Kapalua Bay snorkelling with the turtles and returned each day to the Condo to watch the local turtles bobbing around at the rock wall, a real delight for us Aussies! Thanks for a lovely stay Jim, we will return some day, next time for longer!"

Mahinahina Travel Tips

Mahinahina Beach Rentals: Close to Culture and Nature

A relaxing vacation near the beach is no better than in Hawaii. The island of Maui is the second largest island in the chain. On the west end, however, you can find Mahinahina beach rentals, in Lahaina. Here, there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and other activities for tourists to enjoy, particularly its art galleries, Lahaina has plenty of history as a whaling village, and the Lahaina Historic Trail is a great place to start if you're a history buff. The whole family can enjoy a lesson on the area's past, and return to Mahinahina condos refreshed and able to enjoy their spacious accommodations.

Work up an Appetite on West Maui

No matter which Maui vacation rentals you stay at, you can relish in the culinary delicacies of the local restaurants. Seafood is huge here, but steak and organic meals can be had as well. There are plenty of things to do to work up an appetite, like mountain biking. You can bike up to Haleakala Crater which is 10,223 feet high; don't worry, the volcano is dormant so it's safe to ride around to your heart's desire. In such an area of natural wonder, you can feel like you are at home when you have a place to stay at Mahinahina condos.

Pick Your Adventure on an Exciting Vacation

Mahinahina beach rentals offer way more than a hotel room, already while you are vacationing in paradise. Maui is large enough to afford many great drives, and the ocean is never far away for a swim or snorkel. Adventurers can also take advantage of the zip lines for a high-paced adventure among the amazing scenery, and divers can go below the ocean's surface to experience the underwater world off Maui. For a safe and intriguing adventure, the whole family can go on a whale watching excursion.
