  • 40th Anniversay Celebration

"This is our 2nd time back. Love it, love it, love it !!! Like the new sectional couch, updates you have made in the showers and the new out door patio set. We like to think the condo is our home away from home. Very comfortable and relaxing, what a fun way to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Del & Sue Tacoma WA"

  • WHAT A PLACE!

"My wife and I stayed at Kuleana for our first visit to Maui and we feel that we got lucky and blessed to have randomly chosen this unit for our stay. The view was better than the pictures show and the unit was very clean and well furnished. It was a very romantic location even for a couple of old fogeys celebrating our 37th anniversary. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. The unit we stayed in is one of the best units on the property as we looked for anything better and in our opinion there is not one. The owner was prompt with answering any questions we had and professional with the delivery of receipts for money sent. This location seems to be central to many different excursions we took. Java Jazz became our favorite hang out for coffee and excellent food. The unit is not large but it is perfect for two and would be good for three people. When we return we will most definitely be staying in this unit again. Thank you so much for sharing this gem with us."

  • EXACTLY as advertised and we had an incredible stay!

"My husband and I stayed in this condo for 9 nights in August and have only positive comments! OVERALL CONDO/BUILDING: The condo is exactly as advertised - the photos depict precisely what you'll walk into. The building itself is dated, but is kept in VERY good condition (staff were maintaining the gardens, pools, and renovating some units). The pool and hot tub were great and there were ample lawn chairs available every day - never too crowded. This unit has been completely remodeled and has all of the conveniences of home. Nice and spacious bathroom with excellent water pressure, small closets and wardrobes, bath towels, beach towels, folding beach chairs, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen. You name it - you'll have it! The laundry is located on the same floor and is $2.50/cycle. The machines take quarters, which the front desk will happily provide in exchange for cash. There is free WI-FI. And as for the views - they are STUNNING. We spent many mornings on the balcony enjoying coffee and taking in the views and many evenings having a glass of wine and enjoying the sunset. The owners also made use of the condo very simple for us - in advance we were emailed everything we needed to know to make our stay comfortable. We also had the advice and services of the front-desk staff (it's a timeshare type building), which was excellent. Parking was less than $4/day, which was a steal given rates at other local hotels. CONDO AREA This condo is perfectly situated in the middle of the west side of Maui. The wind is minimal on the beaches in this part of the island, the water is clear and it isn't as crowded as more touristy spots located further north. Having said that, you're walking distance to downtown which has loads of great restaurants and shops. There is also a shopping plaza right next store with a couple of great restaurants, a great luau, surf and paddle board rentals/lessons AND a great general store that is open very late and very early and has EVERYTHING - toiletries, coffee, souvenirs, basic groceries, beer, wine, sunscreen, beach towels, etc. FINAL THOUGHTS Overall we REALLY enjoyed our time in this unit and would highly recommend it. It's much less expensive than other area hotels and includes all of the conveniences of home, which is better than a hotel, especially if it's a long stay. Book it and enjoy it!"

  • Great place to stay!

"Our family stayed at the condo for a two week period and found the unit to be very clean and perfect to serve as home base for our travels on the island. The pools were great and its walking distance to all the great shopping and amenities on Front Street. It was great to have two full sized baths so the kids had one and mom and dad had the other. The condo came with boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas etc which were very convenient to have. Only down side was not having a parking pass (an additional $20 per night), but we managed to find parking on the street all but one night. The condo was great."

Mahinahina Travel Tips

Mahinahina Beach Rentals: Close to Culture and Nature

A relaxing vacation near the beach is no better than in Hawaii. The island of Maui is the second largest island in the chain. On the west end, however, you can find Mahinahina beach rentals, in Lahaina. Here, there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and other activities for tourists to enjoy, particularly its art galleries, Lahaina has plenty of history as a whaling village, and the Lahaina Historic Trail is a great place to start if you're a history buff. The whole family can enjoy a lesson on the area's past, and return to Mahinahina condos refreshed and able to enjoy their spacious accommodations.

Work up an Appetite on West Maui

No matter which Maui vacation rentals you stay at, you can relish in the culinary delicacies of the local restaurants. Seafood is huge here, but steak and organic meals can be had as well. There are plenty of things to do to work up an appetite, like mountain biking. You can bike up to Haleakala Crater which is 10,223 feet high; don't worry, the volcano is dormant so it's safe to ride around to your heart's desire. In such an area of natural wonder, you can feel like you are at home when you have a place to stay at Mahinahina condos.

Pick Your Adventure on an Exciting Vacation

Mahinahina beach rentals offer way more than a hotel room, already while you are vacationing in paradise. Maui is large enough to afford many great drives, and the ocean is never far away for a swim or snorkel. Adventurers can also take advantage of the zip lines for a high-paced adventure among the amazing scenery, and divers can go below the ocean's surface to experience the underwater world off Maui. For a safe and intriguing adventure, the whole family can go on a whale watching excursion.
