  • A perfect vacation spot

"Thank you for sharing your home away from home. It was better than we could have imagined....very clean....nicely furnished and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated all the thoughtful extra touches. We loved it and would definitely book here again. Thanks."

  • Lovely location

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was attracted to Honokeana Cove Rentals because of its location on a lovely private bay that was perfect for snorkeling with turtles. Its motto is "Maui's Best Kept Secret" and that is the truth. Most of the guests seemed to be owners and repeat visitors. Everyone was friendly (if a little noisy) and the management staff were excellent. The condo was spotless (thank you!!) and very comfortable with everything we needed. Snorkeling was very good and we saw turtles every day, and lots of whales in the distance. Beautiful Napili Bay beach is right around the point, and the trails through Kapalua are also close. The only negatives were that this in West Maui, just north of Lahaina, and the traffic and tourist crowds can be very very bad. Sadly, this is not the place for people who crave an away-from-it-all vacation. At night and early morning the road noise is quite apparent from the bedroom, and most nearby restaurants are crowded with long lines. Lahaina was a zoo. And the condo complex is small; you are going to hear and see your neighbors all day and evening. For that reason we will not be returning. But if you are a people person and want a convenient, clean, well-managed location near Lahaina with its own private snorkel cove, this is it!"

  • Perfect location!

"Beautiful views of Napili Bay!!! (an understatement) - sunset views from balcony... SO close to snorkeling with the turtles! and so close to the pools which also have beautiful views. We did the Kaanapali Zipline tour not too far away. Took Trilogy snorkel trip to Molokini and a Trilogy sunset sail too! Perfect with our 2 teenagers. The loft is great for them to have their own spot to shower etc and they were spoiled with the same amazing view as from the main living area and kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your breakfast or serve dinner on the balcony and enjoy the sunsets. Loved every minute!"

  • Accomodation close to Xterra race center

"I came to Maui to participate in Xterra World Championship. I would have settled for much simpler accomodation, a Place to keep my bike safe and a comfortable bed. I came to be Active outdoors. But there was no such accomodation around. This was Another legue. But it is a nice Place with nice, helpful, friendy personell. Nobody says anything about my carrying my bike upstairs and keeping it in the condo. There were plenty of towels, plenty of pocelain, nice surroundings. I did my morning swim right outside Napili Point (neighbor resort), a few minutes walk or swim from Napili Shores watching turtles and fish. There was a hoose in the parking lot to Clean the bike. If you are going for Xterra bring a brusch and som washing liquid for the clay. Nice sunsets in the evening. Watching the sunset is the thing to do at Napili Shores. The owner is very nice and helpful. I sprained my ankle during the Xterra race and wanted a bit of extra disability time for checking out the next day. He gave me 9 extra hours."
