  • Peaceful paradise

"I stayed at this property with my wife and 22 month old daughter and we loved it. If you are looking for the kind of place with restaurants and conveniences on your door step then don't stay here, in fact you probably shouldn't go to Molokai. This is a place you come to escape life and get away from it all. This property and the island itself have substance over style. Cottage 2A is located in a former and now dilapidated hotel resort, this to me only adds to it's charm. All of the currently owned units are well kept as are the grounds. There is a beautiful pool that you won't have to share with many where you can watch the beautiful sunsets from. The unit itself although a little dated has everything you need, my wife was especially pleased as it was very easy to be there with our baby. It is indeed steps away from an amazing beach so you can hear the waves from your bed and simply rotate you head on your pillow to see it! Stay here if you want old Hawaii, peace, beauty and serenity."

  • Location, Location, Location ~ AWESOME !!!

"Mahalo Laura and Victor, for providing a comfortable, well stocked Molokai condo we've coined the "Hula Bar". From the greeting of the tropical scent of plumeria's carried through the condo by way of flowing trade winds to your timely neighbor with the conch shell blowing at our "happy hour " at 5:30. Perfect setting to our direct ocean front views of the most mesmerizing Molokai sunsets! The Pool is perfect, the grounds are beautiful, your condo is comfortable and the location of your condo is AWESOME!!! Mahalo for the ease of booking months ahead with you, all of you great ideas of places to visit and sharing your beach condo with others to enjoy the Best Kept Secret of all the hawaiian islands, Molokai! Mahalo nui loa, carol and jerome"

"I just want to say that this property was exactly what we were looking for. It had an amazing view and so peaceful! My girlfriend and I work a lot in the tourism business and we really wanted a place that was relaxing, chill, and enjoyable without the crowds of people. This property was perfect for all of that! Jack made this property easy to rent and quick to respond with all emails of questions and concerns. If you are looking for a place to kick back, relax, and enjoy an amazing vacation....look no further! Jack's property in Kephui was PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!! We will be returning to Moloka'i and would love the opportunity to rent the exact same unit again. Many mahalos Jack for allowing us to rent your property. Jeremy and Cayenne"

  • Everything for a relaxing holiday

"We stayed here for 10 days in March 2014. Had problem finding unit due to odd numbering system but luckily one of residents helped us out. Unit is lovely, absolutely everything catered for, no need to buy seldom used items like condiments etc as plenty available. Kitchen very well equipped with everything we needed. Bed very comfortable. We did find not having glass in top half of windows in bedroom draughty as the weather was quite windy and wet for couple days when we first arrived. Again owner had thought of everything and we piled on the extra blankets stored under the bed. We didn't need fans at all as weather not hot enough. (We used to live in Middle East where 30 deg upwards is the norm.). Views from Lanai beautiful as were sunsets. Beach mostly deserted, great for taking wave/surf photos or just sunbathing. Pool ideal to cool off when weather warm enough. We were kindly supplied with local information by agent, very useful. At first it seemed to be a long drive into town but we got used to it, specially as there is hardly any traffic on the road and scenery lovely. Local fruit/veg farm on the way (kumu) definitely worth stopping at. The little shop on the site also stocks things you might forget or run out of. Staff on site very friendly. A car is needed to see the Island although there is a free bus service which stops at the complex and takes 10-15 minutes into town. Would highly recommend this unit for a relaxing stay on a beautiful island. We wished we had booked it for much longer and hope to return sometime in the future."
