  • Memorable Molokai and Ke Nani Kai #115

"My wife and I stayed here for the month of November, 2014. We had a marvelous time. The condo is exactly as advertised. Fully and beautifully equipped, really comfy bed, and a smart TV with a gazillion channels. And Molokai; well, it’s the friendly isle, with a population of about 8,000 and no traffic lights. Where else can you take a most-memorable mule ride down sea cliffs to a National Historic Site? If you want the mob scene and a more hectic pace, there’s always Maui. If you want peace and relaxation, then this is the place. Rose provides the most thorough package of info imaginable: what to do, where to go, who to call--it was fabulous."

  • Beautiful, but a little bit cold

"We spent a wonderful week at the condo, hiking, scuba diving, whale watching and just relaxing. We liked the condo very much, everything you need, clean, nice view, ... However, one thing really bothered us: It was quite cold in the beginning. The windows are open all the time, you cannot close them and the wind was blowing inside. Of course no heating in the condo. We had to cover the windows with newspaper and only after that it got a little better. An electric heater for cold days would be a really good idea."

  • True Hawaii

"All the comforts of home and a car waiting at the airport was so convenient. The bed is a murphy bed but it was really comfortable and it was nice to have it fold up and out of the way for the daytime. It was also very nice to have a washer and dryer, next time we will pack less luggage. The owners are very gracious and informative. Three mile beach was beautiful! And a short drive leads you to a wonderful cove where you can swim and snorkel (there were only six people on the whole beach!)The grounds are beautiful and the stars, wow! We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing vacation."

  • Relaxing Retreat

"The biggest problem we had was that we didn't stay long enough. We could only manage 5 days on this trip, but I would have liked to stay a month. Awesome location with fantastic view of the surf break, and sunsets to die for. Lots of great beaches, and walking trails. We got some great surf for three straight days. You do have to bring your food from town, or go into MaunaLoa, but that is a minor inconvenience. There is a store on the premises open during the day for ice, beer, water and chips. We don't like big, fancy resorts, and we like to get away from the crowds. It takes a little effort to get here, but very worthwhile. We loved it! We really didn't do much but stare out at the surf most of the time, so we are already planning our next trip to see the rest of the island. Condo is well stocked with cooking utensils and so forth. There are good grills near the pool. There is no A/C, but who needs it. Fine even during the day, and cool at night. We had to use a blanket in April!"

Kaluakoi Travel Tips

Kaluakoi Beach Rentals: A Base for Exploring a Unique Island

Whether you come out to Kaluakoi beach rentals with family or a group of friends, everyone has a chance to enjoy the ample space both indoors and outdoors. Play a game on the golf course or enjoy an afternoon on the beach; even go snorkeling at Pohaku Maulini beach nearby. If you like isolation, the sheltered bays of Kawakiuniu and Kawakiuki are just the right place. Stick around until after sunset and the lights of Honolulu will be visible on a clear night. There's lots of exploring to do near Kaluakoi condos, but don't forget about the rest of the island.

Experience the Small Town Life Hawaii-Style

The island of Molokai stretches well beyond the sunny west side. At the heart of it is Kaunakakai, a village anchored by mom and pop stores including a world-famous bread bakery, several small markets and grocery stores, as well as a farmer's market. There is also the longest pier in the Hawaiian Islands, which stretches beyond a coral reef for more exploration. The wonder of nature continues on forever here, but at the end of the day, you can stock up for a home-cooked meal at Molokai vacation rentals, as this is not home to familiar chain restaurants.

A Island of Adventure Surrounds Your Every Move

Exploration can be your ultimate goal at Kaluakoi beach rentals. There are mule and horseback riding tours, off-road tours, not to mention miles and miles of hiking trails in the valleys and volcanic outcrops on the island. For nut aficionados, stop by Purdy's Macadamia Nut Farm for tours and some home-grown local delicacies. When your appetite is settled, hike on some more and even view sea cliffs up to 3,900 feet high. At the end of the day, Kaluakoi condos give you a chance to sit and reflect on amazing times.
