  • Beautiful location

"We had never been to Molokai before and wanted to treat our adult son, who works in Honolulu, to a long weekend in peaceful place. This condo was perfect! We had gorgeous views from the lanais and the grounds were beautiful as well. You could drive 16 miles to Kaunakakai for shopping or head east and get to Mana'e Goods & Grindsz for a quick meal or buy some items at their convenience store. The listing description and pictures were accurate and the condo was clean and well maintained."

  • What you see is exactly what you get!

"You never know who you're renting from, but Cathy was the best! She provided exactly what she promised. The unit was clean, well maintained, and fully stocked right down to a welcome chocolate. Hawaii comes with bugs and the occasional hurricane, but since Cathy lives on site she was available to help and easy to work with, but not judgmental, nosy, or overbearing. I specifically wanted a ground floor unit with easy access to the outdoors. Step outside and watch the sun rise! We had a great time and would rent from her again."

  • Moloka'i vacation

"This condo was awesome! Everything in it has been updated using top of the line materials. It has all the comforts of home besides being only steps away from the water. The owners have gone out of their way to ensure all the comforts of home have been provided including access to Netflix and a computer and printer for printing boarding passes. I was looking for a very relaxed quiet time and Moloka'i fit the bill perfectly. The history of the island is rich. One can see the remains of ancient fish ponds from the condo's lanai. A sea turtle was a daily visitor to be enjoyed while having breakfast on the lanai. There are plenty of things to do on the island. The macadamia nut farm was fun as were the shops in town and the Saturday market. Try the new rage, a ramen burger at the Molokai drive-in at mile post 0. Dave's Hawaiian ice cream - yummy! Grocery shopping can be a bit of a challenge but there are plenty of places to eat around the area. Paddlers has live entertainment most evenings. Make sure to get a Mocha Mama at Coffees of Hawaii. Take the time to drive around as much of the island as possible as there are beautiful views and varied terrain. I look forward to my next opportunity to visit."

  • Couple's Weekend Getaway

"The owners of this unit communicated with us very well through e-mail. We had all the information we needed when we arrived. The unit was very clean and very nice. The Wavecrest Resort is quiet and relaxing. Nice pool area and nice ocean views. Have to drive a short distance to go to a beach where you can swim."

Kaunakakai Travel Tips

Kaunakakai Beach Rentals: A Place of Serenity and Peace of Mind

Hawaii shows its beauty in every photograph, but many locations appear to be populated and congested. Not at Kaunakakai, however, where you can spend the day relaxing at Kaunakakai beach rentals, enjoying the many amenities you'll find at home, such as fully stocked kitchens and spacious apartments. The open Pacific Ocean is right out the door, and you can stroll along the white sand beaches and let the waves touch your toes in this serene paradise. When you stay at Kaunakakai condos, the largest civilization around is the small, refined town of Kaunakakai itself.

Stroll Around Kaunakakai Town and Mingle with the Locals

You can stay by yourself or with family or friends, and even make a meal at your paradise home, but you can touch civilization on the small scale at the town of Kaunakakai. There's just a small business district along the town's three-block-long main strip, with no traffic lights, but you can taste world-famous bread from Kanemitsu's Bakery. Also among the town's highlights is Hawaii's longest pier, where you can stroll with local fisherman and even keep walking past the coral reef. Here you can spend an afternoon taking in the local fare before returning to Molokai vacation rentals.

Nature Here, Nature There: Pick Your Place on Molokai Island

Think about waking up in the morning in a comfortable home, and looking out the window to see palm trees and the picturesque Pacific Ocean. Kaunakakai beach rentals are all this, but also provide the luxury of proximity to some scenic natural beauty. You can travel just a few miles to Kalaupapa National Historic Park for a mule ride up to 1,700 feet, or go to Halawa Valley or the three-mile long Papohaku Beach. Kaunakakai condos really are close to some wonderful natural treasures.
