"We stayed here for a few nights between Christmas and New Year's, and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Barbara and Cal have provided everything one would need. It's very quiet, very comfortable - a great place to enjoy the beautiful sunsets each evening. It was exactly what we were looking for. It proves there are still bargains to be found in Hawaii, without sacrifcing beauty or quality.

"If you are looking for a quiet slice of paradise, this bamboo bungalow is it! It is the perfect haven away from the hustle and bustle. It's convenient central location makes for an easy commute to either side of the island. Carol showed us so much Aloha and has the unit set up for all the comforts and amenities you could need! Many Mahalos for making our stay a special one! Hope to be back again soon :-)"

"My stay on Molokai was wonderful – what a unique place! The condo is fantastic; Cheryl & Larry have provided everything that you could possibly need, right down to the smallest touches like the cooler on wheels for bringing groceries down from the car. The condo is clean and has a view that cannot be beat – great sunsets right from the lanai. This is an end unit and as such the breezes coming through the unit are fantastic. The nearby beaches are beautiful for walking, and Dixie Maru is very close for swimming and snorkeling. The empty buildings are a bit unsettling at first, but the grounds and pool are well maintained. Loved watching the turkeys & the deer wander by! It was great to have Clayton meet me and show me the unit, and he brought thanksgiving dinner – what a nice touch! I would definitely recommend this unit, and would certainly stay here again."

"The biggest problem we had was that we didn't stay long enough. We could only manage 5 days on this trip, but I would have liked to stay a month. Awesome location with fantastic view of the surf break, and sunsets to die for.
Lots of great beaches, and walking trails. We got some great surf for three straight days. You do have to bring your food from town, or go into MaunaLoa, but that is a minor inconvenience. There is a store on the premises open during the day for ice, beer, water and chips.
We don't like big, fancy resorts, and we like to get away from the crowds. It takes a little effort to get here, but very worthwhile. We loved it! We really didn't do much but stare out at the surf most of the time, so we are already planning our next trip to see the rest of the island.
Condo is well stocked with cooking utensils and so forth. There are good grills near the pool.
There is no A/C, but who needs it. Fine even during the day, and cool at night. We had to use a blanket in April!"
