  • Relaxing Retreat

"The biggest problem we had was that we didn't stay long enough. We could only manage 5 days on this trip, but I would have liked to stay a month. Awesome location with fantastic view of the surf break, and sunsets to die for. Lots of great beaches, and walking trails. We got some great surf for three straight days. You do have to bring your food from town, or go into MaunaLoa, but that is a minor inconvenience. There is a store on the premises open during the day for ice, beer, water and chips. We don't like big, fancy resorts, and we like to get away from the crowds. It takes a little effort to get here, but very worthwhile. We loved it! We really didn't do much but stare out at the surf most of the time, so we are already planning our next trip to see the rest of the island. Condo is well stocked with cooking utensils and so forth. There are good grills near the pool. There is no A/C, but who needs it. Fine even during the day, and cool at night. We had to use a blanket in April!"

  • MOLOKA'I DREAMS CONDO, hAWAII

"We stayed here for a few nights between Christmas and New Year's, and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Barbara and Cal have provided everything one would need. It's very quiet, very comfortable - a great place to enjoy the beautiful sunsets each evening. It was exactly what we were looking for. It proves there are still bargains to be found in Hawaii, without sacrifcing beauty or quality. Bill and Patsy Loriomer Independence MO USA"

  • Our visit to Molokai

"My family recently took a week off work and visited the island of Molokai. We rented two homes through Leslie Dunbar. Each had a lovely waterfront setting and two bedrooms. They were both well furnished with everything necessary for a lovely stay. Our group included two grandparents (us), and our daughter and her husband with their two small children. We rented a car so we could explore the island and must say that a car is a must. We booked a whale watching tour which was spectacular (we could also see the whales from the deck of each home) and toured the island. It was a lovely vacation but there are caveats. Molokai is not Maui or Honolulu. You will find more of the original Hawaii here. The scenery is beautiful but the amenities are not for the pampered. Have a sense of adventure and go see the whales!"
