"This little cottage is without a doubt the most tranquil and lovely spot I have stayed at in Hawaii. I've rented six different VRBO houses, one on Molokai and on the other Islands. And, while I've loved those vacations, this was absolutely the loveliest setting with wonderful 'neighbors' far enough away from the residence so if you wanted to, you could go days without seeing another person. Lovely seclusion at the beach too. We took the kayaks out at dawn in the peace and watched the sun rise up from the ocean.
The beach and reef are awesome, and the snorkeling we were discovering at the end was the best we had seen at Molokai. Straight out and to the left before the breakers. We even saw a little seahorse on our trip back in. Lovely waters.
If you love peace, and want a place to recharge your 'batteries'... a retreat.. this is the place for you. It is an adventure, too, with the fresh fruit and fish that James and Lauren share with the cottage tenant... and be sure to ask James to get some fresh shrimp for you if you like it... the best I have ever had."

"The house is located at a wonderful beach with great view to sunsets and ocean. kitchen is well equipped. It was clean and comfortable. The caretaker showed up immediatly the next day after we had contacted her concerning some Questions. The area was nice and there are the most beautiful beaches of Molokai just in front of you terrace."

"This condo was awesome! Everything in it has been updated using top of the line materials. It has all the comforts of home besides being only steps away from the water. The owners have gone out of their way to ensure all the comforts of home have been provided including access to Netflix and a computer and printer for printing boarding passes. I was looking for a very relaxed quiet time and Moloka'i fit the bill perfectly. The history of the island is rich. One can see the remains of ancient fish ponds from the condo's lanai. A sea turtle was a daily visitor to be enjoyed while having breakfast on the lanai. There are plenty of things to do on the island. The macadamia nut farm was fun as were the shops in town and the Saturday market. Try the new rage, a ramen burger at the Molokai drive-in at mile post 0. Dave's Hawaiian ice cream - yummy! Grocery shopping can be a bit of a challenge but there are plenty of places to eat around the area. Paddlers has live entertainment most evenings. Make sure to get a Mocha Mama at Coffees of Hawaii. Take the time to drive around as much of the island as possible as there are beautiful views and varied terrain. I look forward to my next opportunity to visit."

"My stay on Molokai was wonderful – what a unique place! The condo is fantastic; Cheryl & Larry have provided everything that you could possibly need, right down to the smallest touches like the cooler on wheels for bringing groceries down from the car. The condo is clean and has a view that cannot be beat – great sunsets right from the lanai. This is an end unit and as such the breezes coming through the unit are fantastic. The nearby beaches are beautiful for walking, and Dixie Maru is very close for swimming and snorkeling. The empty buildings are a bit unsettling at first, but the grounds and pool are well maintained. Loved watching the turkeys & the deer wander by! It was great to have Clayton meet me and show me the unit, and he brought thanksgiving dinner – what a nice touch! I would definitely recommend this unit, and would certainly stay here again."
